Re: a case of \"he cant call this can he\"

So bottom set in PLO is trouble?

I'm fortunate enough to play in one of the best possible tables and I'm ready to go to bed when this happens:

I can't see why you check the flop

Re: (LIMCASH) middle pair TK c/raised on river

If I cap preflop, smooth call a flop c-r, raise the turn and then bet fold the river in a 13BB pot, then I'll make sure this was the last hand of the session.

Re: (LIMCASH) middle pair TK c/raised on river

You played this fine. You cannot fold against this opponent. It's a really bad fold both for game and metagame reasons.

Re: Hand Reading Challenge #2

CO's range (he limped PF) is very draw heavy and his made hands range is something like KQ/AQ/QJs/QTs and 55/66/56.

3-betting the flop is helping HIM make money with almost all his hands....

Re: Hand Reading Challenge #2

Hand 1 It's really bad to play A3s like this vs a BB PFR (and a caller)

I'm not sure if it works at 1/2 though since...

Re: Heads Up QTo in the SB

I agree in a HU match betting the turn should be the default.
Most "decent, aggressive 2+2er, possibly a bit new to the nuances of Heads Up play" will more often than not 3-bet an Ace preflop or c-r...
