Re: Official June Thread: General Discussion/etc

This is unbelievable. I can't beat 2/4. I'm down over a dollar per hand. At 2/4. A limit I used to beat very easily 3 years ago. I don't know if I'm getting unlucky or if I'm playing poorly, but...

Re: 5/10 - people dont fold sets..

I'm not folding, but it's not like I expect to be ahead 90% of the time. SB is going to flip 77/TT a good amount of the time.

2/4 multiway overpair

6-handed. UTG folds, I'm next with black AA and 415 behind and I raise it to 16, next player (TAG stats like 20/15 or something through 20 hands) calls with 280 behind, SB folds, BB calls and covers...

Re: 3/6 - few hands from another bad sessoin

1 is kind of close but I think a bet has value.

2 is fine.

3 shove the river against a bad player. If he has 66 or a super-gross 33/TT, whatever.

4 if MP shoves it's a fold. If CO is an...

Re: weirrrrd line

I'm not a huge fan of the turn check, although it's not all that bad either. Pre I squeeze sometimes, flop I probably raise most of the time, but they're not really the problem with this hand.

Your hand is way underrepped. Pop the river.

Re: MSNL [censored] JUNE THREAD

I don't mind shortstacking that much (obv I still don't like it), but I don't like ratholing at all and there's no reason for it to be allowed at any site.

Re: flush on paired board

Yeah, I don't think the turn call is especially awful, as long as you expect him to bet the river most times. River shove is obv as everyone else said.

Re: 2/5 NL - flopped baby flush, turn decision to maximize EV?

Call the river for sure. It could easily be any T or QJ.

Re: flush on paired board

Checking through on the flop is cool, and I agree that you can get away with raising the turn and building the pot to make the river one bet.

Re: AQ top pair against flopraise

I don't know the player, but just the fact that it's a multiway pot makes air less likely. This leaves a draw and hands that beat you (two pair, set). In a heads-up pot I'm probably shoving, but...

Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.

This is awful. You can't be too confident in the stats after just 30 hands. There is a straight draw and a flush draw on board, it's a blind steal situation, and you have a monster. 3-betting is a...

2/4 3-flush board with top pair

This is key. If you open up early in full ring you'll get taken apart by any good players at the table.
