Re: Bad Turn Shove?

When someone flat-calls a bet that big (relative to their stack) on that kind of flop, it's bad news. In my opinion, the only worse hand that will call you is AQo with the A clubs. I just can't see...

You have about 1/2 of the effective stack in... he probably doesn't have a straight... worse hands will call you... I'm betting.

Re: 50NL - Double Gutter

If he made a raise worth talking about here, then pushing might be an okay play, so long as you have a read saying he is capable of folding middle pair or something like that.

With this tiny...

I think a solid TAG strategy works best at NL50, so if you are between 15 and 18 VPIP, that is a good range.

Raise more preflop - a PF raise percentage that is...

Re: 40k hands in August, please advise (graph)

You're playing way too aggressive for this level, and what the heck is going on in the big blind? You're bleeding money there.

You don't need to be the table bully that raises every single pot...

Re: NL25 76s

This type of situation seems to come up a lot. If you're going to raise with 76s, you can't suddenly become passive when you hit the exact hand you were hoping for. Push.

you can even raise 22 UTG. You'll take down the blinds often enough, and when you don't, a c-bet HU will usually do the trick. If the pot is multi-way and you flop a set....$$$

Re: What is a good hourly rate for $0.25/$0.50 - 6 handed?

I thought I saw a post here that 6+ PTBB/100 hands is great, which translates to 12 BB/100 hands. I have no clue what that translates to per hour, since NL hands take longer than limit hands.

Small sample but you're losing UTG in 6max. You shouldn't lose money in any position that isn't a blind, otherwise you'd be better off folding every single hand in that position.

Re: 50 NL, river against a donk, call or all in?

If you're going to call this bet, putting $36 total in, you may as well get it all in there. My guess is he's getting cute here, trying to represent the flush draw. I don't know what hand he could...

Not to rain on the parade here, but you played the hand poorly and got lucky. If you get in the habit of calling raises of your c-bet with nothing, you're going to be sad.
