Re: PS 25NL 44 and AQ hands- River Play

Like I said, he had pushed a few rivers and people laid down. I thought a weak lead would induce a push. He just insta pushed, which he hadn't done before. Kinda felt strong, but as I played it I...

Re: PS 25NL 44 and AQ hands- River Play

Re: 50nl - AA Standard Fist pump!

I'm fairly happy getting it in here.

I'll try and think through the hand as the CO.

Hmm . . . I got (AT-T9, 22-JJ) I think I'll limp because I play 40% of my hand and don't raise much.

Got...

Re: Play this flop along with me- .25 KQo TPGK

I beat the MP by making 2 pair on the turn.

Looking back I know, and knew before I posted, I should have folded. Just wanted to hear opinions.

Re: Play this flop along with me- .25 KQo TPGK

I called the first raise because I had seen him do this with 99 on a board similar to this, and with a draw earlier.

The second one I called for reasons that have been stated.

I spiked a K on...

Re: First 10k hands.. Am I a winning player or too early to tell?

Your AF is consistantly high. Seems as if you are not re-evaluating throughout the hand.

I guess at 10nl you can play it like SSL and just raise for value bet bet bet.

Re: NL25 AK

You also lose to A9 and 99. Tie AK and he is free rolling with AKs. 25 hands isn’t much to go on, but that seems to be what you based your call on.

More to the point . . .

Raising preflop...

Re: 25NL - Floating or spewing?

If I'm holding 8T it completed an OESD. At this level floating is often just a different way of spelling spew. It can be used effectively, but against players that think or are extremely weak.

Calls. Pot is 13ish. Your getting 2.6-1 immediately. He has 40.20 behind. No need to get fancy here.

Re: I need advice playing TPTK in these spots...

Your not in this spot because of the flop or turn.

If you find yourself in the spot often, then its a big leak. The preflop decisions put you where you are.

Re: PNL Study Group Day 7: The REM Process \"Intro\" and \"R is for Range\"

I think it is very interesting that the basic concepts are seemingly glossed over. Range is SO important.

Why is it that in every article or interview that Aba does he says NL is all about...

Re: 2 SC hands - how\'s my play?

Re: AK 3bet - standard fold?

If I 3bet, it is to 4. The pot is then 8.25. Cbet 7. Pot is 15.25 and then you wouldn’t be asking the question.

As played, if I call I’m committed. If I re-raise I'm committed. I've put in 1/3...

Re: PNL Study Group Day 2: Stack Sizes

[ QUOTE ]
Stack sizes also influence our post-flop play. If we raise a good hand pre-flop and only a short stack calls us it can frequently be wrong to cbet if we miss. This is because we would put...

Re: OT: weak ?

Take shots until you are comfortable. IMO with that bankroll you need to move up at some point. This is of course assuming you are a +EV player.
