$10/180 2nd hour. Good/Bad Play from blinds?
There was a lot of [censored] flying my way after this hand played out.
Obviously, I don't make a habit of playing 63o from the blinds, but when there's decent odds for a call......
Was I wrong...

More AK hands I need help with / comments on
Hand #1 - Villain is 33/10 over about 50 hands. He's showndown AXo twice already, once when he reraised with it preflop and lost a bundle.
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds:...

Re: I\'ve hit the limit with AK. Help please.
Sorry. Stack Sizes.
Villain had about $180, I had about $160.
I'll post some more AK hands when the converter is working again (Full Tilt - and only Neil Dewhursts's does them)
Thanks guys. ...

I\'ve hit the limit with AK. Help please.
Now as I understand it, AK is supposed to be one of the best hands. So, why am I running at a win-rate of only 16% with this hand?
I would appreciate any links to "How to play AK properly" type...

Re: $4/180. 2nd hour. Good Resteal spot?
As it turned out, the BB went all-in too. I figured that made the Villains call easier.
Villain flipped A7o and BB flipped ATo. They both hit their kickers.....and I'm out. Do you think Villain...

$4/180. 2nd hour. Good Resteal spot?
Villain is VPIP 30%, PFR 20% over 40-50 hands now.
I haven't got the stack for doing anything. I think I must be giving a tight image. I've been card-dead and it's over 2 circuits since I played...

4/180, Middle pair enough to call here?
I've seen Villain fold his SB to a similar PF raise before. My read is that he's pretty tight passive, so the all-in (Stop-n-go?) surprised me. I've played with him for about 3 circuits and he...

Re: Full Tilt $109 - Tough all-in decision?
I did fold.
Preflop his min-reraise bothered me - I was bound to call it because of the pot odds, so he's building the pot isn't he?
If he had QQ or JJ, why is he building the pot pre-flop? If...

Full Tilt $109 - Tough all-in decision?
Late in the Full Tilt $109. About 22 left (from 550).
No real reads on Villain - only played with him for about 15 hands. Not seen any of his cards.
(Apologies for the dodgy hand format -...

Re: Big stack problem hand
Hand 1: I pushed on the flop, but never hit the draw. Villain had AA.
Typically with suited connectors / gappers I will raise 50% and limp 50% of the time from late position. I guess I'm making...

Re: Big stack problem hand
Absolutely. I'll be the first to say I'm not an experienced big-stack player.
I knew I should be "more active" so I was trying stuff (badly), but you're quite right that I didn't play this hand...

Big stack problem hand - Version 2
.....In this one, the stack sizes are different.
The villain here has been a lot more active in the last level than the previous hour. He's only showndown 1 hand I remember which was AA - and he...

Big stack problem hand
Here I was, cruising in 1st place with about 20 left (SB is 2nd, with 95k)
The table was really tight, but whenever a hand was shown-down it seemed people really had decent cards.
Villain here...

Re: My disaster hand from last night?
You're both right, of course.
I just needed someone to tell me I really was being a donk.
I remember now, what got in my mind was that I'd only got 70k, but the "average final table stack"...

My disaster hand from last night?
Now, I've been playing on this table for 40 minutes or so. Everyone is playing tight as a nat's butt except for this guy. I've seen him go from 20k to nearly 40k virtually unopposed.
I made the...
