Re: 25NL AA scaryish board check raised on turn

12/10/1.7 looks like a set miner, and with 1.7 AF this is a horrible spot to be in. Given the odds I guess you have to call tho.. they're like 4 to 1.

Re: Hi uNL, I made a video for you guys

Thanks goofy for clearing that up.

I take that if the board had 2 suits of the same kind (instead of rainbow, forgot to mention that earlier sorry) you would ofc cbet it.

Re: Hi uNL, I made a video for you guys

At 13:14 you had QK ip on a AK6 board. I'm just curious to know why you did not c-bet that when it was checked to you?

Btw nice commentary.

Thanks goofy!

Re: QQ 3bet pf.

Villain probably has a pp, 99+; and was reraising you on the flop hoping you would fold AK, without getting him too pot commited should u rai.

As played a shove would gain nothing, I think the...

Re: K8d btn steal

perhaps u were underrepping your hand with that too small a bet on the flop? Betting less than 2/3rd pot on a multi-way drawy board doesnt look strong at all.

Re: NL50: Overcards + FD facing RR

ya i agree it's a set 99% of the time, and that we'll have almost zero fold equity, so why would u play for stacks in a hand that you'll only win 1/3 of the time when u can just fold and take a 10BB...

Re: TP on monotone flop

Yep, that was my mistake there. Guess I was kinda curious to villain's holdings. Thanks profish for pointing that out.

Any thoughts on turn action?

TP on monotone flop

No stats on villain, but I did see him pfr with AA, and then cr flop, got rai, and called on a Q86 rainbow flop.

My table image has been very TAG, only had to showdown once, which I won.
Would...

Re: Top 2 OOP

Thanks for your help guys. Turn+river action was pretty much forced I think given that CO was shortstacked, but here it is if you guys feel like giving any feedback.

Turn: ($2)...

Re: AQ in position

good point kroelie, i normally raise flop with air.

was just thinking of extracting max value from the hand and not wanting him to fold a weaker ace

Re: Top 2 OOP

would u guys mind walking me through the logic that led to u deducing noone had a set?

I didn't wanna raise, especially not UTG because this table was extremely nitty and an UTG raise would most...

Top 2 OOP

Ok so I'm at this 6 handed table. No stats on villains, been only playing less than 50 hands on so. It was a passive table preflop, but would change to maniac-style postflop, which is why I open...

Re: $10NL - AK in mid position

Yea I was thinking that I would have to push if an A or K fell on the flop.

I don't think he would have 3bet with 10-10; so that leaves JJ, QQ, KK, AA and AK that he would have 3bet with.

30%...

Re: $10NL - AK in mid position

assuming i call his 3 bet, then the flop comes A-x-x. He bets out say 3/4 the pot (about $2.5);

What do I do? Do I push or fold? Assuming no reads on villain.

99 UTG

What do you guys with middle pocket pairs like 8s, 9s, 10s and Js UTG? Do you think it's better to limp, raise it up or fold?

Similiarly, with middle pp's in the blinds, and it is raised to you...

Re: $10NL - Q10o on button

I was thinking of $2.50 myself as well, but I was afraid it would have been to small since SB could have an ace himself and called, thus giving the MP's more than 3:1 for their money if they did have...
