Re: good time for a big bluff? NL25

I dont agree. AK suited is a very strong starting hand but with the pre-flop raise on the button, I cant associate this with strength as in 6-max hold em the villain could have absolutely anything!...

Re: good time for a big bluff? NL25

Id definitely lay this down. You say he raises OTB a lot so he could have anything. At the end of the day AK is always a hand that needs to improve to win which it hasnt. The button had a wide...

Re: HOH1 &2 or NLHTAP

Ive read all the Harrington books and they are excellent and yes I would recommend reading them first. However, to suggest NLHTP is not worth reading is absurd! I got it when it came out and read...

Re: supersystem2 no limit section

Personally I don't rate Doyles super system on NL. He might find that bullying pot after pot away from your opponent wotrks ( maybe it does when your throwing $100,000 in!!!!) but myself, playing at...

Re: Call this shove?

Against a TAG player with those stats (by the way how many hands was this over? id just call behind him pre flop to see a flop. When he checks you had to make the CB but id fold when he moves all in....

Re: 50NL AQ dangerous board flopbet? turncall?

Pardon my ignorance, but the three figures : 17.1 /9.2/4.67.
What do they mean. Iknow they are related to poker tracker, but which columns do they relate to? and is this the standard presentation of...

Re: $10 SNG WITH QQ in MP

Thanks. I agree that I should have raised at least to $200, probably $250. He actually turned over A /images/graemlins/heart.gif, J /images/graemlins/heart.gif at showdown, so hed have probably...

Re: which NL book to read first

I think Phil Gordons Little Green Book is a good place to start and is an easy read. HOH is also very good. However NLHETP is brilliant but goes a little too deep for a first book.

Re: Common TPTK Situation

Push all the way. The hand has played out as so that none of the hands your opponent holds could fit in with the board. If he has a PP higher than your J's he didnt play them well pre-flop so you...

Re: TPTK Donked into on flop- Raise/Call/Fold?

Id raise to around $20 and see where I stand. If he has 10's or J's he may fold and you have still got outs if he does call. The only hands he can reasonably have are high pairs as you have position...

Re: 65s, pair + straight draw

If it was my money I'd probably check and be happy to win a big pot. The hand hasnt played out like villain has been on a flush draw but I am suspicious of the minimum raise pre-flop. Was he a good...

Re: NL $25 Call this river raise with top set?

I would just call the bet. You let him in cheaply on the flop as the SB didnt raise enough with his first raise to deny the correct odds and then you should have reraised with the Jacks as you...

Re: How do you play this KK hand at the final table

Your M value is less than 7, so viably, with the big stacks still to act behind you, I would have raised all-in and let someone else make the mistake of calling your raise. Yes maybe the A-Q would...
