Re: typical session for me - why can\'t I beat this limit?

Over this small sample size, you lost way more money than you should from the SB. If you have more stats and this is just one session or whatever, check that stat.

LC - Looking for a few partners for sweat sessions

Looking for a couple people that play 25NL to run a few sessions with. I'm thinking we set up voice chat (probably vent) and do a couple 1 hour sessions.

I probably have to recognize your name...

Re: 25NL - Stack Off W/ Top Two?

Anyone bet more here on the flop? I think I make it 2.5 or 2.75 just because people will call with draws here a lot and making them pay for the privilege is good.

Pretty much how I'd play this...

Re: Problem with sets on A high boards

This is exactly why you cbet when you miss the flop. And why you raise lots and lots of hands in position.

Re: 25NL; AJ vs unkown SB; how would you play this?

I'd probably call the turn and hope he decided to bet the river with something I was beating.

Re: 25NL; Am I beat here??

I think if your plan was to c/c the turn you might as well b/f. If villain is a reasonable player (stats indicate maybe) and he knows that you are a thinking player, there are lots of hands he might...

Re: 25NL - Tough decisions with TT

Ok, I take the point that people generally think I played this poorly. But I've gotta argue with the idea that this is NOT how someone plays a set. This is exactly how someone plays a set. Hell,...

Why did you fold river? WTF. Keep betting on the turn. I don't get it.

Edit: Wait, you folded because he's a donkey and sucked out the last hand? Wow.

25NL - Tough decisions with TT

This guy is 22/12/4.5. On his second hand at the table, he shoved 88 over my turn bet on a K high board and caught an 8 on the river to beat my AK.

I actually think I should have folded the turn...

25NL - Is this a bad place to bet 99?

If this is standard, great. If it's not, fine too. I'm checking everything because my losses are spiraling out of control.

Er...just checking the bet. Obv the fold on turn is standard.

25NL - Calling 3-bets with pocket pairs

This is sort of a general question. In this particular case villain is 27/15/2.9, but I'd like it to apply more generally. It's $2 back to me with slightly more than $5 in the pot. So I'm already...

25NL - Playing jacks like a pussy?

First hand with this villain. Did I play these waaaaay too weakly? I've been getting beat to a pulp lately and I feel almost completely clueless half the time now. I have no idea if I'm...

Re: Official JUNE uNL **\'`MICROBREW THREAD`\'** LC/NC this way...

Can someone tell me what the hell I should do to arrest this slide? Take a couple days off? Get someone to sweat me? Drop 3 levels? Nothing, because this is just pure variance?

Going through...

Re: 25NL - Another AA hand

This was almost exactly what I was thinking. It looks a little weak on review, I didn't want to lose a big pot here.

Re: 25NL - QQ in a multi-way all-in

Re: 25NL - QQ in a multi-way all-in

Yeah, I misclicked the flop bet.

I'm not really getting 4:1 either, because CO didn't have a full stack.
