Re: change table

Normally in most casinos you have to move your entire stack to the new game you are entering. This avoids people from turning there 300 buy into 1000 on 1 game and then staying on the same type game...

Re: The Ballad of the New Setup

I don't really get this post. Nobody seems to want to mention that when the new set up showed up there were 2 A spades in the same deck. According to your post dealer did not call floor over but...

Re: illegal raise

Actually there are 2 different answers to your 2 questions here. In the 1st part if player one goes all in for $15 then another player can complete the bet to $40.
In the second problem if...

Re: Rampart to re-open poker \"room\"

I can tell you this about the Rampart poker room. The poker dealers will be pooling tips with the pit dealers. This will make for some slow poker games. You never get a fast poker game when the...

Re: Why no Omaha8 in Indiana?

I leave no doubt a trip for you to Argosy on a Wednesday will get you an evening of Omaha 8. Two weeks ago they actually had a must move game also. I suggest you call and put your name on the list....

Re: A floor call I had never seen

I would think the floor might do one of 3 decisions. 1. declare a misdeal. 2. give button final card. 3. Declare the buttons hand only a dead hand. Any of these decisions would be acceptable to...

Re: Why no Omaha8 in Indiana?

I can only say what supervisors have personally told me at the Argosy. I know the Omaha game spreads every Wednesday evening at the Argosy. 2 supervisors in the later hours have told me that games...

Re: ATTN: Steamboatin or other southern Indiana players

That Omaha high low game goes after 6 till the early morning. Friend says they had a must move game going last Wednesday. 5-10 with a kill is the stakes they play.

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas

I can't believe you all do not like the Maggiano's. A chain yea but not an Olive Garden.

Re: ATTN: Steamboatin or other southern Indiana players

Omaha 8 high low goes every wednesday till bout 2 am. The Argosy buffet is decent at best but tops Golden Corral hands down. Any deli sandwich is better than both.

Re: Vegas cab drivers hassling for tips

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas

Not even close. Maggiano's Little Italy in the Fashion Show Mall on the strip is the best. There portions are huge and you have leftovers after the leftovers.

Re: Poker Vacation. Where and when would you go?

Vegas is a no brainer but keep Tunica in mind. Chicago could be okay also.

Re: NL raise rule?

Your raise should not have been allowed but situations like this are often overlooked. My guess is that somebody at the table knew this but was hush hush. The dealer obviously missed this. All in...

Re: Southern IN poker rooms

Don't bother on the drive to Argosy. Since the new poker manager took over they have yet to have a 10-20 on the weekends. And forget about during the week.

Re: Ruling on a hand

In general you should only do this if you suspect collusion. If not than at most rooms it is still legal to ask but the floor has the option to take away this right at anytime if this is abused. If...

Re: Ruling: 4 cards dealt on the flop

I'm not sure what you mean here but the proper ruling is the 1st burn card stays as is......a burn card. Then the 4 cards get reshuffled back in the deck and and the dealer does not burn another...
