Re: standard payoff with a set?

You think you are paying off a flush? I could easily see him A-J d. My question though is why check the turn?

He probably has a flush, but by checking the turn i think he could easily think you...

Re: I got confused, folded, and felt like a moron afterwards.

Not trying to be mean, but if you are playing hands like this need to move down.

[ QUOTE ]

Villan is a good player that will make plays. He has been pretty quiet the whole night, but is capable of anything.

Yes, I can see him triple barrel TPTK or...

I'm putting villain on 88/99/AT and is testing to see if you have AK. Are we really putting him on a set reraising oop on a dry board?

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably not a set, but do you...

Re: Sick bluff?.. would you have called? Why?

I figured no way he has a 10. A-J 10 doesn't really make sense and didn't feel right. I thought maybe he played KK or AA really well against me, but i think he would have reraised preflop with two...

Re: A river bluff

played it pretty fishy. You are in a spot and have no clue where he is at. I think you win this pot a large majority of the time with that river bet, but why put all this money in with no even really...

Re: Sick bluff?.. would you have called? Why?

I thought the same thing. I definitely read the turn bet as weak, but a third barrel.

I don't care what he has because I have the nuts.

Re: contemplating a bluff, semi-deep

Don't check the turn and your problem is solved. Why did you not double barrel?

Re: 10-25 Foxwoods 2 pair in deep limped pot

I would fold just because i think its obvious he has 666. I feel like if he had in overpair he would have raised the big blinds bet on the flop.

Re: Where I know that he knows that I know.. blah blah blah

I don't really see a TAG player making a move in this spot. He either has top set or AK suited. Betting the flop is not horrible, but you are most likely getting called by one of the two with this...

Re: 1/2: Top2 + FD on turn, b/c or cb?

I put him on AJ. That said, checking and getting him to call a river value bet if he checks again would work. I feel like if you bet 60-70% of the pot on the turn he folds. So either bet little over...

Re: DEEP stack battle with maniac

I really dont think he has anything but the turn call confuses me. I almost feel like he had complete air and picked up a draw on the turn. Would be sick if he had 67. Nevertheless i am calling just...

Re: TPGK facing a c/r against an aggro opponent.

I would call and re-evaluate on the turn. Then if K, 8, or heart hits you are probably not good, if those miss, then get it all in after he bets.

Re: NL 200 - fish\'s big action - who calls

If you are ready to lose a buyin to an inferior hand, go ahead and call. I would.

Re: 100NL TT gets donkbet twice

Typically when people donkbet with a flush draw, if you raise they will not bet out the turn after calling the flop. That said i think folding on the turn is fine thinking that if he is donkbetting...

Re: Bellagio 10/20 Hand Against TV Dude (No, not wrong forum)

I probably don't get away from it, however the villain could have just about anything.
The only thing i would keep in the back of my mind is the guy probably has a pretty good idea of what you have...

reriase! You are OOP, but obviously have the best hand. In many situations when a button player raises and the BB reraises the button raiser thinks the BB is trying to re-steal thinking the button is...

Re: Question about a $1-2 NL black hole player

This actually seems like a good situation for you and your friends. If the guy tightens up when he gets a bigger stack it should be much easy to put him on a hand. That said, just run him over. Raise...
