Re: 25NL AK hand 300bb deep

[ QUOTE ]
What do you guys think about a turn check? It gets you paid off by weaker hands when you (or villain) bet river and loses less when you're behind.

[/ QUOTE ]

Seems reasonable on this...

Re: 25NL AK hand 300bb deep

I've played a villain with similar stats once. Replace the K on the board with an A.

Same exact action, pretty much identical bet sizes, and 250BBs deep instead of 300BBs.

I called, he bet 50%...

Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October

Yay for poker. After a brief 2 month break I'm going to start playing again. Hopefully I can continue where I left off (last 10k hands have been amazingly successful).

Re: how did i play this

I don't like the river bet. We have position here, so why not use it?

A busted draw of some sort isn't going to call.
A hand that beats you is surely going to shove.

Really the only hands you...

It depends what you have starting up. Even the fastest computers will take a while if you're loading a billion things up (intentionally or not).

On the other hand, if you're not loading a lot of...

Re: TPGK when i\'ve three bet preflop....welcome to the donkey show?

I don't like the 3bet preflop. Too marginal, and since you didn't post any reads we can only assume you're new at the table?

His flop bet is really weak. You pretty much got one of the best flops...

at the risk of sounding retarded: why is this an easy call

I don't think it's retarded to not see this as an easy call.

Re: Left-Brained or Right-Brained?

It refuses to go anything but clockwise. I tried absolutely as hard as I could to make it go counter-clockwise but it's not even coming close.

Edit:
Stared at it for a full 120 seconds, nothing....

Re: Can You Write a Sure-fire Algorithm to Stop Bots?

I don't think we have the technology yet to 100% fully prevent them without making the normal user's experience extremely annoying -- to the point of it being unplayable.

One idea might be to have...

Re: My son needs help purchasing a computer for gaming

Is this pre-built from some place or did he put together a list of parts?

If it's separate parts then I'd consider a different motherboard, video card, hard drive, and power supply.

The 7600gs...

Re: can\'t install xp on sata drive

1) Install the HD.
2) Put in the Win XP CD.
3) Set your BIOS to boot off...

Re: Poker Hand XML

I still think there's a lot of info included that doesn't need to be there. Also there are too many optional fields IMO.
