Re: Metrics for stock evaluation

[ QUOTE ]
To be honest, it sounds like you have a very long way to go before picking good individual stocks.

Re: Dim sum and other Cantonese food

When making Ma Po Tofu, I like a mixture of hot bean paste with Lao Gan Ma (the chili paste with the old woman on the front). roughly 2/3to 3/4 hot bean paste to 1/4 to 1/3 Lao Gan Ma.

I also add...

Re: [censored] you and your stupid ass check/min-raise.

Re: 200 NL, flopped trips against tight raiser, call or raise?

of course he could be.

standard is pushing of course.

Re: I turn TPTK, now what?

the point of calling the turn being best option is that we are calling with the idea that most people aren't going to try to get TPTK to fold on the river.

Re: I turn TPTK, now what?

well, your other options are betting flop (in which he checkraises and you have to give up), raising turn (seems kind of suicidal), and folding turn.

Re: 1-2NL FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT

I'm more questioning of your read that he bets 50% of his holdings on this monotone multiway flop.

Re: AA 4bet pot vs. reg (deep)

I am not sure if hes going to stack off with QQ. maybe KK.

even if he has played with you lots, I'm pretty sure this is the first time hes seen you 4 bet preflop, fired flop, fired turn (should...

Re: AA 4bet pot vs. reg (deep)

orange, how much do you want to play for here? because if you bet turn, you are playing for all 300bbs.

if you want to play for less (150bbs), then check the turn behind.

Re: oh good, i get min check raised on the river

While river bet isn't bad, I don't think its that clear that checking isn't close in EV.

This range merging thing works out well when...
