I think it looks good.
My question is on the river though.
What do you do if:
1) MP3 raises; Button calls
2) MP3 raises; Button folds
3) MP3 calls; Button raises

Re: If I could just play JJ as well as BBB does
Whether I raise (and potentially cap) the flop depends on what kind of hands he played on the 3 out of 9 hands you saw from him. You also didn't indicate whether he capped any of those other 3 hands...

Re: JJ Overplayed?
I don't cap PF against 3 others.
River is an easy fold for me versus 3 already in. If you find you would have won the pot with 2nd pair, then you probably have 3 new buddy list friends for life.

Re: Sahara vs Circus Circus
If this person is asking for poker room rates at CC and Sahara, then he probably can't afford the monorail.
Seriously though, if you're going to rent a car and you want to play on the cheap, just...

It's much better to judge posters by their avatars. At least you can tell who thinks they're smart or cool.

Re: K3-SB against BB + Limper
I would go the B/F line. I might even go B/C if I thought BB was tricky, but usually not.
I don't see a reason to C/F the river. I even like C/R better than C/F, but I don't see myself checking...

Re: QQ vs. Donk bet on turn
Smells like 2 pair or potentially even a set of 5s. Let the calling station (who probably has a weak ace anyway) pay to find out.

Re: AJo turning 2pr and hating it...
I am not being sarcastic here.
Why do you bother calling the flop if you don't like an ace on the turn?? What turns make you happy getting 5.5:1 on the flop call?

Re: KQs 1/2 Stars: thin call?
Easy call.
I don't like a turn raise. Villian donked into us on the flop, so I can't see him dropping on the turn. He's more likely to 3-bet us on the turn than on the river when one of our outs...

Re: Late Night KJo @ 1/2 Stars
Other than preflop limp which isn't that bad depending on your table, I like how you played the hand. I can't figure out what lipms UTG that has you beat here other than Kxs that hit 2 pair or 66 but...

Re: KJ hand
I have a hard time letting this one go. The BB raised 2 limpers; you don't have to have a top 11% hand to do that; you have to have more than crud. He probably thinks he's up against drawing hands or...

I've tried the free download from Pokertracker and there's a ton of info. Probably too much. I tried Poker-edge, and while it was easier to use, it didn't seem totally accurate. It also...

Thank you all for the feedback. The only reason I had been hesitant to buy Inside the Poker Mind is that I was very disappointed in Psychology of Poker.

Hi/Lo and/or essay books

- How to Win at Omaha Hi-Low (Cappelletti) versus
- Hi-Lo Split Poker (Zee)
Also,...

I still like Mirage but it obviously isn't as nice as the newer ones and it is starting to show its age. As an overall hotel, it's great; for playing poker, meh.
There are more escort options and...
