Re: Lars and the Real Girl

I enjoyed Ryan Gosling's performance, but I did not see the magic in this one. I left feeling underwhelmed. I went in open minded and hopeful, but left feeling bored and thinking "I could have...

Re: ***Official 2007-2008 MLB Offseason Thread***

What do the forum regulars think of:

M. Cabrera for
Howie Kendrick, Jeff Mathis, Reggie Willits. Apparently also pushing for Nick Adenhart, which may be a sticking point.

Evaluate the trade...

Career numbers

Which one is Juan Rivera (1500 AB), who the Angels already have for some trivial amount, and which one is Torii Hunter (4500 AB)?

.291/.340/.473

.271/.324/.469

Re: Angels Sign Torii Hunter - 5 years $80M

Does Juan Rivera just suck or what? This may make sense if the Angels plan on shipping GMJ + others for another player, but I don't know otherwise.

Re: ***Official 2007-2008 MLB Offseason Thread***

I don't really know why the Angels did this. It appears that Reagins is much more active than Stoneman (sample size yea). But Hunter figures to have another 2-3 good years is my guess. Shmeh.

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Didn't Ariza smoke the Lakers last year?

I guess I am happy for this trade, I don't really know enough to have an informed opinion.

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Yes, good hustle and good effort.

Walton still seems to be struggling since becoming a 6th man.

I hope Kwame is not too hurt, just Bynum and Mihm is not too comforting, mainly because I don't...

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Odom is sick. Farmar is doing much better so far this year. And Bynum is chugging along, getting better and better slowly.

No Ronny for tonights game either, so very nice win for the Lakers.

Re: Sweat: FTP $3R... final table.

GL.

HU with a nice chiplead.

This has a nicer prizepool than I would expect for a rebuy on full tilt.

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

LA wins in Houston. Shweet. For the general fan and NBA's sake, I hope Tmac is fine.

Given that I gave the Lakers a 33% chance to split on this back to back, I am happy they won 50% of the...

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Eh, I know it's a large percentage difference, but 11% or 15% meh pretty close guesstimates.

I saw the Lakers were ranked #4 on MSN power rankings last week. Is the NBA really that weak?

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Any thoughts on the Lakers chances on this Texas back to back?

At the Lakers "peak" last year, about 12 games over .500, they beat the Spurs on the road (on a nationally televised game - I...

Re: *Official* 2007-2008 LA Lakers \"the year we missed out on KG\" thre

Odom could be an All Star fo sho.

Lakers are a decent team, I think they will get in the mid 40 as far as wins go.

Kobe still wants out though. He thinks that management sucks and they lied to...
