Re: 45man 1.20 - AQ two pair on scary board
Hmmm, he could possibly have had A 10 as well as A K. But I would agree with the first comment, bet 350-400ish on the turn and if he raises I'd go ahead and fold believing that I'm beat.

I'd say call, hope he gets something he likes on the flop, maybe he has AK and a K comes out on the flop, then you can get even more value from your hand, which is sometimes difficult to do with aces.

Re: 10NL Your Play With Aces?
I have to agree, I'd push after that flop and his re-raise, then if he shows me QQ, 88, or TT then I'd just have to pay him off.

Re: Why is Vanessa Rousso always blabbing about game theory?
Well coming from my perspective, as a grad student studying math, I can tell you game theory is a pretty complex topic, but it has very little to nothing to do with great poker. I have a very strong...

Re: K8s OTB 4 handed.
Gotta fold the turn, because if he has a 5 hes got you beat, and if hes got a 2 he has you beat, pretty much if he has anything he has you beat, I'm not crazy about calling a $6 dollar bet to play a...

Re: NL25: What does Limp/Re-raise Mean at uNL?
I would agree, someone definetely has a pair, if they're an idiot they might be going over the top with a low or mid pair, but most probably they have a high pair of A K, so yeah, it makes for an...

Re: JJ - Am I too weak?
I like how you played it as is, however depending on my read on these guys I probably would've bet the flop or certainly the turn since they were just checking it off to you both times.

Re: NL20, a set with consequences
Then if you don't want to fold, call, if you think he doesn't have a flush call. There isn't alot to say about it, if you believe 100% he doesn't have a flush then push in and profit.

Re: NL20, a set with consequences
At this point i'd just call, I might even consider folding if I thought he would draw out for the flush, because if so you're beat.

Re: NL25, top pair vs donk and I\'m lost ...
Although I'm new here, I'll attempt to give you my brief opinion of this hand, others can feel free to jump on me if they feel I'm totally off-base here.
I like your preflop raise though I might...
