Re: Stud 8 at Foxwoods

I don't think there's any specific Stud/8 game, and I haven't been in the Northeast since August, but when I was using Foxwoods as my home-base over the summer there was usually an O.E. game running...

Re: Carpooling

Jesus Christ, I can't believe I missed this thread. I'm so mad right now that I don't check these boards often enough. I never play NLHE, but I'm willing to throw down $100 just for this experience....

Re: Brag: Vegas is ez when you\'re <21

You remind me of a young Reko the first time I played at Foxwoods two years ago when I was 19 and used my mother's 'Wampum Rewards Card' and the floor called me Phyllis all night :-)

Solid brag,...

Re: BRAG: College Gameday is coming to Williams v Amherst

One of my boys from high school is/was on your team (I don't know if he's still playing) - Rob Chambers. Don't know what happened to that kid because I'm not quite sure if he's on the team anymore;...

Re: I may have found a bigger douche than Humberto

Haha, good find!

I don't understand of having a gimmick like this at a table; makes no sense to me.

Re: Any future stars in your classes?

I played football until this year and am the track and field captain at the school Iconoclastic just listed above me.

No, I won't tell you my name, though I wouldn't doubt if Iconoclastic has/had...

Re: $400 PLO8 on stars....am i just far to AgRo

I'm playing this hand exactly like you did in this spot. A-2-J-10 (especially if you've got the suit) is my absolute favorite, favorite hand to make moves like this with. The call on the flop and...

Re: houston tx

Isle of Capri has some good games running in Lake Charles; not very far from Houston and definitely worth playing in. They run, I believe, a $15,000 guaranteed tourney ($110 buy-in with $100 rebuys)...

Re: Poll: What do you do at the tables?

Most people have said what I do already.

I play long sessions like Mr. Rick (10-14 hours at a time) usually, and I just stay focused the entire time - no sunglasses/hat/headphones/hoodie/anything...

Didn't hear about it; don't play NLHE. Anyone know who the dealer was?

Re: Long sessions

I get better the longer the session wears on. Perhaps because I'm young and the regular game I usually play in is dominated by old people who drink and then seem to lose focus after about 7 hours or...

Re: Most winning sessions in a row?

It's definitely possible; I've been running like that for six months or so, too. When I show people my poker buddies my spreadsheets and stuff, it's always 'Oh, you must run like God', but it's more...

Re: O8 World Champ. Of Online Poker (pokerstars)

I'm really considering putting money back into an online account for the first time in like 3 years just to play in the PL08 event.

Then again, sitting at the computer for 8 hours to inevitably...

Re: AAA2s, in a tourney situation

Fold.

UTG+1 looks like he's going all-in anyway this hand and you shouldn't give him a courtesy double-up, wait for a better spot to get your money in.

Re: 5/10 NLO8 Hand

I hate the way you played this hand. I'm not too familiar with NL O8, but it seems to me that if you call that flop you have to keep in mind that it's almost a certainty he's pushing the turn to any...

I heard this dude on the complete other side of the room at table 32. Jesus f*ckin' Christ, what a scene. I love Foxwoods.

Re: first donkament you\'ve ever won?

First one I ever won was at the Turning Stone in New York right after I turned 18 years old three years ago. $100 buy-in, $3200 to me. Everyone kept trying to chop with me but I was being a dick and...

Re: Raise or Call this turn? 50-100 Shorthanded

Look to see a turn as cheaply as possible here. If I'm you, I'm just calling here rather than folding and re-raising.

Without any flush draws, there's not much that hurts you on the turn except...
