Re: Pennsylvania
As much as I hope poker comes to Pennsylvania, PA is traditionally very conservative on the State level so it may take some time. That being said, I heard they also broke ground to put a new...

Re: The official EPASSPORTE thread. (#2 of 2.)
The last several weeks have been riddled with Epassporte issues as we have all been reading.
For U.S. players, how have cashouts from Epassporte to US Banks been working over the last several...

Re: A legal / tax issue
You do have the other legal issues though. I'm no lawyer, but you are misrepresenting yourself as another person. If it can be proven you are doing so to dodge certain laws, and we all know what...

Re: A2o vs complete unknown
I think this decision is very close due to the odds you are getting from the pot. I've seen enough players play two busted overs this way. After OP checks the turn, you can expect many villians to...

Re: Leg Cramping?
I'm not an expert in this area, but if I remember correctly, the most common causes of muscle cramping are dehydration, lack of potassium, insufficient vitamin E, lack of muscle flexibility, and...

Re: Bench: Barbell vs. Dumbbell
AG,
Not at all, dumbells in general offer a little more than a barbell for the reasons some of the other posters already explained. I usually workout by myself also and will not do a flat barbell...

Re: Getting rid of man boobs
Dean,
Everyone's body is unique, and where we store our fat is to a degree genetic. For you to find out the answers (your answers), you should begin a program that cuts bodyfat until your...

Re: Top 5 exercises??
Queensgrad,
The way you framed your question, I would add the bent over row as your fifth lift. Chins are good also, but go with the row if you must do only one. The row hits more muscle than...

Need scoop in St. Louis area - Ameristar 10/20
Was at the Ameristar in St. Louis a few years ago. Will be revisiting St. Louis area again in a few months on business.
How does the Ameristar 10/20 play? Anyone give me an idea what to expect...

Re: Folding KK on the Flop
Right, but button could have the Ace of spade with a non-spade king? I'd consider 3-betting the flop there with that hand, which is also consisent with his preflop play...

Re: oops i folded again
I agree with your rationale, but I'd trust something like that alot more in a live game than on the net (betting out of tempo). Think you can rely on such a nuance accurately enough to fold in this...

Question for the moderators of 2+2
In your opinion, how much have the legislation changes affected the traffic here at 2+2? I would imagine participation here is reduced, but by how much?
Just curious,

Why can't it be a glitch in his connection, the server's connection, or the million other things that can momentarily slow down the internet?

Re: oops i folded again
You can't be sure of the AJ/AA reads until a raising war starts. You have to think you have a fair amount of outs here (though you don't know what they are) until the action indicates otherwise. ...

Re: learning how to fold overpairs (?)
If you would consider calling the turnraise, why not revert to check-call on the turn and river instead? Someone will bet the turn for you in this case. Between the times you are minimally ahead...

Re: First time 20/40 - AQ EP - Turn Action?
I agree with this reply.
Sidenote to Op: Once you decide to move up in limit and challenge yourself, why wouldn't you find a game that plays much better than this one you are in?

Re: Value bet this river?
Is this opponent even capable of check-raising at all? Sounds like he would bet out a strong hand, and not raise you with a few stronger hands. This leads me to believe a value bet here is better...

Re: 10/20 - 99 Multiway
I think to do anything other than bet this turn is a big mistake. Yes you may be beat, but you will have the best hand here also a reasonable portion of the time given the opponents stats., which...

Re: KK hand, live 10/20
I agree with this, C/C the whole way is what I would likely do also, given the Op's situation. Different characteristics of an opponent would change my approach, but I think going passive is best...
