NL25 Call river V 51/15

Only about 50 hands but he's very aggressive.
No idea what the flop bet means but he must have something when he calls.

I check the turn since I want to get to s/d and being c/r would be gross.

Re: 2pair on a scary, unraised board.

I don't like a b/f having bet out twice. His stray Jack just missed and poorly played weak Ace just made it.

Why not check to induce a bluff?

Re: 50NL, turned set, river completes FD

I think the flop is fine with this small bet.
Against 2 opponents I think a c/r could be sexy on the turn?

As played, I may have ventured more on the flop lead.

Re: 25nl: flush a little deep

I don't like PF.

If you called the turn why would you consider folding the river?

Edit for dumbass comment

Re: Top Two on drawheavy board

I'm playing for stacks against an unknown with 2pair <100BB.

I bet more initially on the flop and would also make the 3-bet higher.

Edit:typo

Re: 25nl facing turn push

You really fold after committing 60% of your stack? I think that's terrible.

If you aren't playing for stacks here then I think you have to check the turn.

Re: $10NL 6max: Flop Top 2pair 3way -What action do I take?

No one is paying attention to you at 10NL. You have the best hand, just keep betting. No need to get fancy.

Re: KK facing push

Obv. we are miles behind JJ+ but adding in AK/AQ makes this a call.

After committing 40% of the effective stack can we really lay this down?

Re: A good turn and a bad river against a TAGfish

Looks like he could be drawing but checking here could face you with a PSB which I most likely would fold.
He may have fallen in love with his pair so I like to lead ~half pot and fold to a raise.

Re: NL25 - tough spot AQ

TPTK on an extremely drawy board with people left to act, looks like a good lay down to me after the min-raise.

My poker math needs improving so let me take a stab...

I'm going to assume that villain has at best a pair but if we hit an A or K vilain may make two pair. We therefore need to discount some of...

Re: Bottom set facing AI on turn

You wrecked this hand with the flop raise. Make it man sized and then see what happens from there.

Re: I hate QQ ( 886J2 board )

I can't see a 16/10 3 betting out of the blinds with <JJ.
You have about 7% equity on the turn if that range is good and so I think you played it perfectly.

If the turn is a blank with this range...

Re: 77 set vs. turn donk bet (FD hit)

I can not fold a set against a 41/26. You crush his range and I think that your equity is such that a pot sized raise is best here, calling a shove.

If he's still drawing a check let's him get...

NL25 overpair OOP, 1st orbit

I have to assume this is a standard steal here but with no reads I'm not ready to 3-bet.

What's the better/standard line v an unknown on the flop?

As played how would you approach this turn?...

NL25 underpair OOP v aggro villain

He's 32/29 and extremely aggro.
If I bet he calls, If I check he bets, so what's the best line here. I decided PF that I was taking QQ all the way with this guy.

Do we c/c and push the turn or...

Re: 50NL Getting All in with AK

It's a tough spot against an unknown on this dry board. I would lead out for slightly more but I find a fold here and make a note.

Re: 25NL: JJ in rr pot, AKx flop

I don't mind the check on the flop. I would be tempted to bet on the turn and I definitely bet the river.

Re: 50NL AA OOP terrible turn

It's only a terrible turn if had a K of course. Give him some other pairs TT+ that an unknown would call with and you have to stack off here.

Re: 30NL - 6max - JJ deep

There's no reason not to bet out on the flop having raised PF. If this guy was extremely LAG I can find a call here but I don't reckon you beat much that c/rAI here. Even if he does this with AKh...

NL25 TPTK facing donk bet

New to table not sure if this is his standard line.
Is it worth raising on this board or just try and get to showdown as cheaply as possible?
