Re: 50NL: I butcher QQ on pretty much every street

Also, although unlikely he might be playing AK terribly here in which case you're also beat. Essentially there's practically nothing except for a complete preflop bluff that you beat after that turn...

Re: 50NL: I butcher QQ on pretty much every street

You might as well treat the turn bet as a shove, because he barely has anything behind him so you're forced to call the river if you call the turn. That said, as played i would fold the turn because...

Re: 50NL QQ, top set on flop

Oh yeah, and even if you do check it for pot control, there's no guarantee he won't just shove on the river in which case you have to make a tough decision. Also you're giving him free cards which is...

Re: 50NL QQ, top set on flop

I'd be hella scared of AK but I dont think this is a hand I can lay down. AK's only a small part of his range.

Re: 25NL JJ with a 3bet from SB

uhhh this hand telegraphs strength like none other. Sure the guy is a hyperaggressive crazy guy but if he didn't have the hand he would have just continuation betted the flop, which keeps in line...

Re: NL2 - AK in BB vs. Calling station\'s Reraise

then again the guy's raising range is pretty tight so u might want to fold the AK when he 4bets. his calling range is 50% but his raising range is only 9% which means the guy is pretyt careful about...

Re: NL2 - AK in BB vs. Calling station\'s Reraise

you gotta shove preflop with AK when you're out of position, no question about it. playing AK oop on the defensive vs a decent player is a nightmare. AK has enough equity against pretty much anything...

Re: Overpair on Flop

I think this hand is good because a lot of people at those stakes will play 99-QQ this way. Some will even play A8 like this, although they'll probably fold it preflop. So you're ahead of a lot of...

Re: 25nl, is this bad play or bad beat?

use a converter please
and yes i would fold to river bet as well, seeing as how the only thing he'd be bluffing is a missed flush draw... except that the flush draw completed. He's not gonna do this...

Re: PL$10 do I check the river to induce bluff?

hey bet bigger on the flop and the turn, especially if you think he's chasing his draw. it also makes it easier to get it all in on the river.

Re: This is my standard, but is it spew? AK pre flop, NL $50 6m

ummm is this standard? in tournaments i'd go broke all day long with AKo but in a cash game? i'd say 3bet to 18 fold to the push, because many people don't even shove with QQ - phil gordon says the...

Re: NL25, AKo out of position

seems like it's just a random check raise hoping you had AQ or something to take the pot right there. I'd definitely bet the river, but he'd probably fold anyways.

Re: 25NL Really tough spot!

Re: Pocket tens - NL10

good play but 3bet preflop to see where's your at. as played i think he has a set, nothing else really makes sense.

Re: NL50 ATo TPTK river?

we're definitely behind on the river, looks like a flush draw or 87 to me. turn is still a call because of weaksauce bet and river is an instafold i think.

Re: 50NL with AK

yes hero folds, you really only have like four outs to the straight - you don't want to be playing deepstacked with top pair on such a coordinated board.

Re: 50nl - River Line

pretty standard, it seems... bet 1/2 or 1/3 pot, fold to a push?

Re: 2NL - KK against flop donker, river all-in

my best bet is that it's a terribly played 6. but really you can't put anyone on hands at 2nl because most these kids are so retarded. keeping that in mind, i would call here at 2nl but fold any...

Re: Help! PFR is 5.66

key word is position. you can raise like, K7+ or Ax on the button, but utg i wouldn't even play KJs or A9s. also a lot of people like to raise with anything they decide to play if they're the first...

Re: NL25 - Fold Q high flush?

yes what do you think they have?!? Axd and Kxd respectively?!?! that's so damn unlikely, probably one has an Ad and another has a set or two pair, i have no clue why you folded here. i'd probably...

Re: A General Question on how to counter TAG player

playing out of position against a preflop aggressor TAG is one of the hardest things you can do. Unless you want to check raise him with air (which is not a good idea) you can't do anything about it....

oh yeah. also if you haven't been reading and participating in the 2p2 forums there's a good chance you're not as good at poker as you think you are. everyone thinks they're better than they really...

Re: bad week... and my bankroll is very affected

lol that hand's not nearly as bad as a lot of others. for example, i hit my JJ set and he hits his 88 set we both go all in on flop, he hits quads on the river. or AA vs AKs AI preflop, he spikes a...

Re: 10NL - AKs pairs the ace, but faces big river bet

raise more preflop to like 50.

The rest of the hand is played well I think... just sucks for you that the dumbass sucked out on you
