Re: NL10- horribly played set by hero vs. unknown

I don't think you played it that badly. The only thing I don't understand is the minraise UTG preflop.
You're like inviting everyone in to call you. I don't mind the turn call, even when he has a...

Re: NL10 - QJs big draw on flop

@ gumpzilla:

What do you do if you call the $0,50 and the SB reraised to $2/$3 and the initial better calls?
Do you push / fold(?) / call?

Re: 25nl tough spot

I don't think I would be able to get away from this. What range of hands did you put him on and would he call the flop with and raise turn.
I think a range like this sounds reasonable?:

Re: NL10 - QJs big draw on flop

I'm getting around 4:1 PF, fold?

What if the SB reraises him and the IR calls?

Re: How do you beat this kind of players

Steal their blinds indeed. Avoid getting into pots with them without a big hand.

Re: 25NL reasonable stack off with small OP?

What hand would he reraise the flop with that you have beat?
Have you seen him raising draws before?

[NL10] 2pair vs passive villain

Havent seen villain play many
hands, and when he did he seemed to play them quite passively.

Re: 10NL cant throw this away right?

Cant imagine him pushing here with less than 2p/set. Had these situations before as well, and I called but som ewhere I knew I was beat. He played it really weird with the complete SB.

Re: AA against very weak opponent. 50NL.

If he suddenly decided to play his draw aggro, he has possibly made his hand on the turn. You dont have the Ad, so I would fold here.

Re: What does a raise...reraise.....3bet mean for hand ranges?

@ Louderthanbombs

How could that be +EV? Youre dominated vs AA/KK, coinflip vs QQ JJ TT, tie vs AK

Re: What does a raise...reraise.....3bet mean for hand ranges?

I almost never call a 3 bet OOP with AJ or AQo, you never know where you stand and are almost always outkicked - dominated.

Re: AA fold to a raise on flop?

I hear a lot of people say "if he has a set, thats just unlucky, so be it. A lot of times you can recognise a set, especially on this limits by type of minraises on some boards.

Re: What does a raise...reraise.....3bet mean for hand ranges?

Question 1)
Im reraising with AA - KK - QQ - AK - and JJ depending on villain.

Im calling with AQ/AJ/TT small pocket pairs.

Question 2)
Think this really depends on the kind of player...

Re: AA fold to a raise on flop?

I see a lot of ppl on NL10 check-minraise sets on boards like this. I would consider folding here. If he had some kind of draw he would probably just call.
