Re: Cash game VS SnG

Alot of good information in this thread. I have transitioned over from SNGs to cash games (low stakes) and felt comfortable playing 6max like the tourneys I played. I also started out the 1st 2...

Re: is 200 enough for 10nl

20 buyings is decent for NL10 if you play well. My worst swing so far has been 6 buyins in 28k hands at this level.

Re: How to stop Overplaying TPTK?

I had issues lately overcommiting myself in hands with TPTK. I now focus in applying pot control (as mentionned) to keep it small in most cases. This has helped me greatly and saved my butt on many...

Re: bankroll

Defintly too low IMO for NL25. A 20-25 buyin minimum would be good a start. For me, a 40 buyin minimum will be required as I get nervous during the swings and a bigger bankroll helps keep me sane.

Re: ***Official? November Goals Thread***

1. Clear 40$ a week from the FTP bonus
2. Play 15k hands a month (like previous month)
3. Learn to better use my HUD
4. Bring up my winrate for NL10
5. Get my roll up to 800-900$ so I can start...

My 1st month playing NL10 6 Max. I switched from Pacific Poker to FTP about 1 week ago and also went from 2 to 4 tabling at the same time. Hope the curve starts to climb back up steady again soon.

Re: NoIQ vs FTP

I switched from Pacific Poker to FTP for NL10 and the games are noticeably tougher. Less limpers, more agro players, more pre-flop raises and re-raises and lots of floating. On the good side, I now...

Re: Moving up to NL25 - memo to self

[ QUOTE ]
If you can beat NL$10, you can beat NL$25 and probably NL$50. The issue is that 20k hands is too small a sample to know if you are really a winner in the games you are currently playing....

Re: Still Learning, How Badly Did I Butcher This?

Is it just me or don't we want alot of players in a pot with a hand like this one ? A nut flush draw against 1 player is not what I'm personally looking for. The more players, the more odds you get...
