IMHO the turn is the most important street in FLHE and if you don't have a good sense of where you are by that point in a hand to make confident decisions either way, you are...

I base my response in this thread on the fact that my roommate plays nearly identically to me PF, yet over a large sample size I make 3-5BB/100 whereas he makes .5-1.5BB/100....

deadmoney,

How big of a sample? Could you post some screen shots of your stats, AF on each street? Basically post the same image as the OP?

Are you suggesting that someone should be...

deadmoney, you are saying something that no one else on 2+2 agrees with. we all think you should be most "aggressive" on the flop and it should be lower on the turn and even lower on the...

Re: ego needs fixing

To me it seems a question of what camp you fall into. Some believe games are loose in general at 5/10 so until you are proven otherwise treat it as such, I gathered as much from small stakes but...

Re: My first 100,000 hands at 5/10. Where can I improve?

You seem to have the same issues as my roommate on where you place your aggression. It seems your flop/turn aggressions are flip flopped. Turn aggression should be higher than the flop aggression...

Not sure what happened to my original reply... here goes again. With the way you played, you have to call river, yes its a crying call and you can expect to be beat here a lot for a few reasons but...

Re: JJ 2/4

Seems instantly like a loose table, has anyone considered waiting until the turn to bet on a favorable card? The flop looks draw heavy and your opponents are certainly correct to call with a variety...

Re: (2/4) Stealing with JTs

I'd consider raising the donk bet on the flop, if for nothing else it lets you know if you can get free cards off the stranger when you are in favorable position. As for the call I'm leaning towards...

Re: TT awful flop OOP

The losing play is to check fold this to j2o 54s and k3o giving free cards the entire way. After you have 200,000+ hands of winning at these stakes I'll consider input to the contrary (and I'll...

Re: TT awful flop OOP

I can't believe someone actually said check fold. The chance that your hand is good right now is quite high given the VPIP of your opponents. They are calling stations, bet all the way through to...

I agree religion was invented to explain natural phenomenons before they were understood. In fact, any time a child would ask a parent, "why is X" the parent would cut and paste "because <insert...
