Re: 10k Hands - what the hell is wrong with my stats?

Wow..

You have some pretty strange stats. I don't really get it. You are pretty laggy preflop which is fine. You are very aggro postflop with is good. Yet you get to showdown >30% of the time....

Re: QQ Best line for value?

call. He isn't on a draw and will fold everything but a set to a turn raise and will stack off with a set on the river. Call is the only play.

Re: 200NL - TT OOP 3way pot. wtf!

I like this hand. There is a lot here.

I am a bit skewed by the fact that you told us information that you didn't know at the time. I will try and not use that information.

PF: I am not sure...

Re: Brag: Awesome Heater (last 4 days)

The 2,500 hand breakeven stretch must have been absolutely horrible. How did you get yourself through this terrible time mentally?

Re: I have a serious gambling problem

Hand 1: Standard you can't fold turn for $21. Sorry you lost.

Hand 2: Bet 25 on the river if you are willing to call 25. If you bet it is to b/f.

Hand 3: I fold the turn.

Re: Alternative line

Since you already stated that these are alternative lines, I don't hate either. But for the most part just bet. Getting fancy at SSNL doesn't usually pay.

Re: KK weak line vs fishie

Villian has Ax here like always. But you are getting good odds on the river. I normally call and get shown the Ax that he always has. God I wish he bet like 50 so I could fold, but for 1/3 pot, I...

Re: [Nl100] AA facing river push

This is a standard b/f for me. He isn't raising anything on that river that you beat unless you have a read about that but villians that bluff raise river bets without the goods at 100NL are pretty...

Re: First 10k hands stats. Looking for a bit of general advice.

Please Please Please Please Please don't call UTG raises from reasonable opponents with Ax type hands suited or not. I am assuming that you are referring to UTG raises since you can't really call a...

Re: 100nl: TPGK on awkward board

OK, lets go through the standard lines.

Value Betting: Are you going to get called by worse hands? I think so. All kinds of Ax hands are still calling. I would have trouble putting him on AQ...

Re: First 10k hands stats. Looking for a bit of general advice.

Hey John,

Stealing the blinds has nothing to do with the cards and everything to do with the blinds. If you BB is 70/45 you probably shouldn't steal at all. If you BB is 4/3 then you should...

Re: First 10k hands stats. Looking for a bit of general advice.

General Comments:

1. I am a bit confused. Are lines 1 and 3 both six max. If so, why are your stats so different.
2. I am going to go with the third line for this since I don't know what the...

Re: NL 100: Butchered a hand. Am I a moron for considering this call?

Wow, you are harder on yourself than I am on myself. You played it fine. $10 might be better on the flop especially with 3 opponents. Maybe $20 on the turn. River was a bit wimpy. You can b/f...

Re: you ever try [censored] like this when you think youre gettin 3b light?

I would much rather 4 bet lighter for 3 reason.
1 I serves the same purpose which is to slow down the light 3bettor.
2 It is cheaper. In this example, you could have 4bet to 40 and gotten the...

Re: 200nl TP AJ fold ??

What do we think about squeezing pf. I would 3 bet here. Button could have very large range and sb hasn't shown any strength here.

Thoughts?

Re: How many people will make more than $250,000 this year playing pok

Well math tells me there are probably quite a few.

Assumptions:
30 hours/week
5/10 NL Player
3 ptbb/100
Normal Rakeback Deal through FT.

$250,000/year.

Re: help with aches from Multitabling

One more thing to think about. I just recently installed a AHK bet pot type script for full tilt. You can read about it in the software forum. It is very helpful. It significantly reduces both...

Re: ATs OOP

First off, I don't 3bet ATs OOP against an UTG raise. Villian is pretty laggy but still, OTB raise is fine, OOP this is closer to a fold than a 3 bet. If you are going to 3bet, $4 at least.

I...

Re: 200NL - TPTK value shove river?

Wow, this one is tough. I am going to assume that the numbers you gave are over a large enough sample size to be revelant.

A good player with a very high AF flat calls you on a super dry board on...
