Re: AKs - nut flush draw + overcards on turn. How do you play it?

27.25/11 = 2.5:1 = 28%

9 outs (flush) + lets say your overcards are only good 2 thirds of the time 4 outs (overcards) = 13 outs = 25%ish chance of hitting on river...

Pot odds alone basically...

Shove all day. Also, I believe your equity is higher than Somnius's stove analysis, because some of those hands are not peeling the flop.

Re: trip Q\'s good kicker, c/r on turn

Not a very good situation, great you have position though.

Problem here is even if you are ahead right now, it's not by much. I could find a fold here...if you really want, you could call and see...

Re: Law and Math Combo?

More for future prospects. Well in other words, I do want a career, but, one that still allows for a more entrepreneurial lifestyle, which I think a quantitative one can provide. A potential law...

Re: tptk on drawy board

If you check and he pushes are you calling?...if so just bet it yourself then cause he might be drawing...and b/c of that and hands like KQ, QJ that he'd call with, I'd just push it here...

Awesome, thanks a lot guys. It's pretty clear that the more disciplines you want to integrate, the more leg-work you're gonna have to do to finding professions that cater to them.

I wonder though...

Re: 25NL QQ Flop Decision

I assumed AQs-ATs is in his range, just that he will shove with that flush draw a lot less often than he will with a set. So to give those holdings a weight of 25% I only included one of...

Although youre thinking is reasonable...it's probably not the best line of thought.

Yes you want action...but...you want ACTION.

I'd really only acknowledge the first category you have there without knowing his pfr cause then I just assume I'm playing against a generic 50Nler, while possibly tightening the range a little for...

Re: 56s...Line Check please

Raise preflop but other then that I like the way you played this.

I guess I need to elaborate.

Open limping/limping preflop is pretty weak and unnecessary at lower limits. Especially in this...

Re: 97s in bb against tag stealer

I just re-noticed we have a pair of 7s...even considering he might be betting light I'd still fold this river, but everything else looks good imo.

Re: NL50: AQo in sb 3-handed

I'd push flop.

He could have AJ...maybe even low suited aces, as well as some flush draws, can also think you're bluffing and call his midpair like JJ etc etc...yes you're ahead enough here.

Re: 50NL extracting with TPTK wet board

From what I see, his pfr is 10...not 2...

He could have AQ, could be cbetting with JJ, QQ, KK etc etc...standard cbet%...I'd still probably just call this anyway then extract on turn, he bets...
