NL25: KK on AAQ board

I usually play 6-max LHE but want to give NL a try. In LHE I would always call this down, because I want to minimize my losses when behind but give him the opportunity to bluff his chips to me when...

Re: TT A high flop.

This is a tough spot for me. I usually b/f in this situation but I wonder if I want to see a showdown here cheaply instead by checking and c/c'ing the river.

Re: Donkey c-raises the river

He could also play a Q like this, so I'd check behind against this type of player. As played the fold is fine, I think.

Re: River decision with middle pair

[ QUOTE ]
he could put you on a ace also, maiby he has something like 77 or whatever draw. I like to b/f in this spot

Don't you need a read on villain that he is likely to be b3b-ing...

Re: River decision with middle pair

He doesn't raise much PF but this time he raised a UTG raiser. You're behind to TT+ and Ax, so I think I c/f.

I had a 122 [$] downswing in 1000 hands

You should think in terms of big bets instead of dollars. At 1/2 this is a mere 61 BB swing, which I have like every other day (up...

Re: Two pair against super passive dude

I'd raise turn instead of waiting until river. If I get 3-bet I will call down and make a note. This is a passive villain who takes a strange semi-aggressive line. I don't really know what to make of...

Re: How agressive to get with 2 pair?

I raise PF to isolate if villain is fishy and the blinds fold too much. He could have a set of 4's but I have seen villains taking this line w/ Ahxh. Without reads I call this down.

Re: Turn 3-bet on paired board

Villain could be raising turn w/ a Q, a draw or a monster, I call down. Villain's line smells like KQ but I call the river anyway.

Some river folds

As my last thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=12678186&an=0&page=0#Post12678186) didn't get much attention, I'll try a different approach. These are some river folds...

River stats

I reviewed my 6max stats today and noticed, that I win 76.96% of the time when I bet/raise/check-raise the river and 32.97% of the time when I call. Despite the limited sample size, is this a hint...

Re: Not 3 betting AA/KK in late positin

3-bet. You don't want to play a multiway pot with hands like these if you can prevent it.

Re: AA raised on the turn

When I get raised on a semi-brick turn like this I'm very inclined to think he hit the flop hard like you suggest (or has 22). Wouldn't AQ or KQ raise the flop (or even cap PF)? Does a club draw...

Restealing in the BB

I've been experimenting w/ this play lately and I found it to work quite well on an uncoordinated A or K high flop against TAG open-raisers in the SB. Since this could just be variance... is this a...
