Re: abusing bad TAG players preflop [theory]

Hypothetically if this was the last hand of poker you were going to play, or you knew you would never see these villains again, sure its +EV to repop IP pre and fire away on the flop.

But you...

Re: The Queen Bee Wins the White House: It is almost a Lock

Its hard to say really what kind of agenda she will pursue
in Iraq and domestically, since her statements and congress votes are driven by political calculus instead of true belief. Why did she...

Re: 100k hands.... open for inspection/selection/detection/interjectio

WTF is this forum's obsession with PTBB/100? $$/hour should be the holy grail of all statistics over a large sample size if its all about being a collector not a donator in the poker economy. Game...

Re: blindwar KK

I like checkraising mainly to balance vs a thinking player on your left. This could be a float a good amount of the time, in which case you collect more $$ than betting the turn and he folds. It also...

Re: 200nl: set with bad turn card

I dont understand the turn bet 60 idea. If he has a diamond with his probable PP, were giving him ~3 to 1 on the call when he is ~4 to 1 to hit. Most villains would gladly take those odds we gave...

Re: tough turn spot w/ straight

I was first thinking fold but dragon has a good point. What do he put you on? Def not your straight. A naked big spade or a PP with a spade that has outs vs him. I mean a big reason for you raisin...

Re: NL 100, 6 max. Standard shove?

Youre also ahead of KhQh, a fancy move with just a flush draw, cant even rule out K10s. Get it in! Calling is really bad cause a heart, Q, J puts you in a really tough spot vs further aggression. If...

Re: Do we really know that online poker is on the level? I.E., not rigged

Yeah there is a real possibility that online poker is rigged. My personal opinion is that there is nothing to worry about thought. I picture that possible riggedness as giving a new account an...

Re: 100NL: AK I think this is std but it just didn\'t feel right

I would 1st look at his stats in PAHUD for call/raises c-bets. If those numbers are nitty this looks like a fold. Those types usually smooth call with AQ/AJ to see what you do next. If anything leads...

Re: 400nl - ValueTowning tptk

Ok so the only worse hand that might call a river shove is KQ. Not sure even a 37/15/2 plays K9. K10, KJ, a slowplayed flush/set letting you dig a deep hole cant be ignored.

I'm thinking...

Re: I get unorthodox and it feels kinda good.

I dont know. With 45 in the pot you charged 30 for him to see the turn and the river when your hand is vulnerable but prob good. If villain has been really coming after you when you show weakness...

Re: QQ and an ugly river

I call here. From his end he figures at best you too are chopping since you played it passive on turn. So perhaps his 99-22 figures what the hell, I'll try and win the whole thing.

Yes a 10 is...

he had 66. At the time I decided it was a cooler. I just

QQ river decision OOP

Not many hands on Villain, did not see him do anything out of line though. Here I wasnt sure if I should bet or check fold. Does betting here usually get value from 77-JJ? Maybe even A6? If I do...

Re: The Well: SEABEAST

Is floating out of position something you do a good amount?
Example, you call a pfr flop comes 8c6c5, which completely missed you. Now you call the c-bet to bluff any club, 9,4,7,8,6? Or how about...
