Re: Tampa or Canada
You live in Washington? Drive up the road to Vancouver. Tons of 1/2 and 2/5 NL. The 1/2 is a $200 buy-in max and the 2/5 is deep stack with a $1k max buy-in.

Re: lol live variance
I don't know why I do it to myself either. 2/5NL on the weekend
Hero: $1000
Villain: $900
Hero picks up AA in middle position.
UTG bets $20, UTG+1 calls, donk (who's re-bought for $1000...

Re: How much, and why?
With your image, I like a push. With a less agro image, then I'd go with a smaller over-bet, but still prefer the over-bet to the $90ish bet. Ax is calling pretty much anything here and everything...

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
I play in the evenings (got a day job) and it was pretty damn fine (considering the generally low traffic). Fewer short stacks. Some tables were actually free of short stacks for very long stretches....

Re: easy to get away from AK on river?
Looks like a fold, but reads would help in this case. I'd probably bet less on the turn (90 - 100). Villain likely has you on a strong A and expects a call. In this situation, I sometimes check the...

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
Avoidance can also work. If you don't want to play with rat holers get on the wait list for tables with 2+ players waiting. These tables tend to have zero or only one rat holer as they can not leave...

Re: I have set issues
Cool. Hand 2 was at the beginning the next day... so no I don't tend to worry about over sets.

Re: I have set issues
I love this site /images/graemlins/tongue.gif. Thanks for the feedback, which was mostly just confirming my own thoughts, but none of my friends play poker, so when I go through a series of coolers...

Re: I have set issues
Nooooo.... That's the point. It never even crossed my mind (well maybe for 2 milliseconds, but was quickly tossed).
That hand nearly put me on a massive tilt session. My bottom and middle sets...

I have set issues
At 100BB I have a real problem folding bottom set, particularly on board where villain could be drawing. When I play deep stack live (200+ bb), it's a lot easier to fold to a $500 raise, but online...

Re: The Official FGators Put up or Shut up Thread
Hey FGators,
Not a hater. I actually think it's cool that you did this. As far as selling your HHs goes, this is pretty much a no brainer. Information = $$ and you've got a lot of hands recorded....

Re: 50% of folding is discipline
Solid fold on the river (finally), however the rest of the hand is a complete spew. Why raise so much on the flop?? If you're called, you're clearly crushed. Okay, so MP called the flop, now slow the...
