Re: $10NL: Trip Kings

raise the turn, he bets 0.9 into a 4.25 pot, and if he calls, probably just check/call river

Re: 25NL - KK with AA on the board

[ QUOTE ]
why are you betting this flop? an A or TT is always calling and almost every other hand that you beat is folding.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is wrong. They call with all kinds of pocket pairs.

c/c flop c/r turn is pretty standard line TAGs take with a flopped set IMO

Agreed. And this seems just the kind of flop for it. This is an insta-fold.

Re: KJc with13 outs

I don't like check/call because a club will almost always kill your action against any decent player. C/r and call shove.

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**

Yep Full Tilt rake is just sick. Here's a comparison, I play at iPoker right now and the rake at NL20 is $0.01 for each $0.20 in the Pot and max rake $1.00. The first one is the same (edit: or...

Re: UB PokerTracker/PA Hud issues

Yeah I do. I don't know about that interfering thing, but AFAIK that's the only way to get it working, and it worked fine when I used to play at UB.

Re: I guess this is why I am not a winning player - help with stupidit

Hand 1, fold flop.

Hand 2 is pretty standard IMO. I sometimes raise the flop/turn.

Re: Would anyone play this hand (KK) differently?

Re: 30NL: QQ, Deep & OOP Play Along

Yep, I raise and fold to a push/5b cuz it's almost always AA/KK/AK. Calling is bad for aforementioned reasons.

Re: NL25 TT Float/Value Call? -> What to do on turn?

I check behind for pot control and to induce bluff on the river. I might fold the river if another overcard comes up and he makes a value-bet.

Re: bet sizing AA

Do not pot flop and turn if you don't do that normally when you don't have a hand. One of the main points of c-betting is disguising your hand so that if you have AA, or AK that didn't hit, doesn't...

Re: NL25 AA vs massive river overbet

Yep, fold. You don't win many hands, I'm 99% sure that he has a str8/flush. And is frustrated you didn't bet the turn.

Re: Flopped a set and facing AI push with bad texture!!

Yes raise pre-flop, as played snapcall. Many times, they slow play flushes (except for baby flushes maybe, and you've got lots of outs anyways), and push when they've got one club.

Re: Standard? Small doney str8

I'd probably fold the flop as we're beat most of the time here with 2 callers pf and MP basically committing himself. But I don't think it's played bad either (since it's so small bet).
