Re: JJ blind vs blind

Flip a coin and decide. Use Game Theory in this situation. Heads, you push all-in, tails you fold.

[ QUOTE ]
Isnt this completely wrong from a commitment threshold point of view?

Care to explain? Perhaps you should reread the book.

Re: Check my math - Sklanky Stacks, Handranges and KK

[ QUOTE ]
If we are 90% sure that villian has AA a call is +EV.

[/ QUOTE ]
Your math looks way off. I would like to know a villain who would 3bet reraise with ATC (any two cards). If this is...

Re: Tricky exiting unraised hand...

Your turn bet is very small. Bet more on the turn. As played, I call the river bet. I don't believe that villain has made a straight.

Re: yo check it...I HAVE A PAIR! YES THATS RIGHT..THE TOP PAIR !

I shove all-in. The river bet looks very weak to me. If villain shows a X3 or a full house so be it. I don't believe that villain has trips. The weak bet smells like KQ/QJ/QT.

Re: 200NL flop decision with crappy flushdraw

Fold or Shove all-in. Pick one. My preference would be to fold.

Re: VERY tricky hand.

Why not? Do you realize that games which are very loose and aggressive, many players will play AX suited and KX suited? So his plan of hitting a flush on the flop with a hand like 95 suited is a very...

Re: Theory question: Reraising small PP from BB?

[ QUOTE ]
If you raise 22 everytime, though, they'll realize you're 3betting like crazy and play back at you. You want to do it as much as you can without them coming after your 3bets all the time,...

Re: VERY tricky hand.

Fold pre-flop. You omitted the stack sizes of the remaining players. It is most likely that BB has a full house, 44, 77, K9 are possible hands for BB range. Betting so small on the river is a...

Re: Struggling to Settle @ 100NL

[ QUOTE ]
You make money because they call too much and are overly aggressive. You save money because you fold marginal hands in small pot. Wait to get your money in when you are a clear favorite.

Re: QQ preflop: a more theoretical look

[ QUOTE ]
No its a choice between -EV (calling the 5 bet) and even more -EV (folding to the 5bet) after already putting in 35.
I'll take the less -EV option...

Re: QQ preflop: a more theoretical look

[ QUOTE ]
My last 2 sessions at .5/1 6max with 100bb stacks I've raised with QQ, got pot sized 3 bet, I 4 bet to ~35, and am met with a shove. In both cases I ended up calling and shown AA, KK. So...

Impossible to give good advice without reads here. Against some villains I'd turbomuck, because they just setmine and only raise the flop when they nail it.

Re: Tough spot w/Set multi way 200 BB deep

Fold. You are not committed to the pot. You are way behind against a set of 33 or 55. Most likely villain has a set of 55.

Re: NL100 - 3-Bet shove with low overpair on this flop?

Fold. I think you are beat here with a set, 99, 77, or 44 are possible hands in villain range. It is possible that villain is on a flush draw Ax suited of clubs. So the question is how much equity if...
