Re: How do you win in donkland ?

70 is better, but I dont like this play all the way around unless you have a good read. my guess is this player has shown you that he is a donk, so dont bluff donks...with no read its not a good...

Re: 1/2: 150bb Deep: Anyone value bet/fold river?

cant see how 6 helps his hand...if you were beat i think you would hear about it on turn...value bet here...I bet more on flop against 2 even though no draws.

you beat players like this by not bluffing - wait for hand.

Re: bankroll for small stakes=?

start small - $.5/$1 nl would require no less than $1000, and more if you are a beginner. you can also buy in for less than full buy in. perhaps start with $.1/$.25 and see how it goes, then work up

Re: AQ with 3 diamonds on flop

poker stove with a bunch of hands villain could have, AK with diamond, JJ, AJ, with one diamond, and other hands shows I have about 38% equity, so given the $ I have in there, seems like a shove.

I assume they are bluffing

I've been playing no limit for about 5 months now - the part of my game thats the weakest is making good laydowns. I seem to pay off many times when I have the feeling I'm beat, but am not sure -...

Re: common spot vs nit

3 bet pre standard
I would bet $25 on the flop - you are worried about QQ, JJ, but he folds TT, AK, AQ so I think a cbet is worth it heads up.

Re: QQ oop in tough spot

I think youre right, but why even call preflop if I'm playing it this way? Perhaps I should 4 bet pre to find out where I am?

Re: QQ oop in tough spot

I raised this flop in case of AK - do I just float? to call flop and turn costs me the same as raising and I dont give a free card.

Re: QQ oop in tough spot

I folded with $40 (5 to 1) left because I think I have 10% equity at best.

Re: NL 100 Flopped 333 against LAG

I raise the flop and hope villains has big pair/two pair and shoves - also protect your hand vs straights. As played, no way you can fold this imo.

Re: QQ laydown pre against passive?

He might think I'm squeezing, but at 100nl not near as much squeezing goes on as with 200nl - I dont really see it that much without big hands, so I figured he had a big hand. On the other hand QQ...

Re: How is this 3 barrel???

I bet 15 on the flop and give up. I've started giving up more on raised pot when ace hits board and villain calls cbet.

set mining or 3 betting pp?

How often are you three betting pp vs just calling for set value? assume villains are decent regs. I know you may mix it up, but what do you do the majority of the time. last one should read raise,...

Re: putting together a reasonable system for 3bet pots

a great tip I got from cts video on 3 bet pots: cbet less $. for example, if you three bet from bb against btn, and have air and pot is $33, cbet $22 instead of $28. has same result with less risk....

Re: NL200: WAWB OOP big pot

Since its btn vs bb, the btn's range is wider than if this was utg vs btn for example. he could have flush draw, queen, or even worse ace. QQ or AK would have 4 bet, so I think you are good here,...
