I would put villain on QJ, JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AT, KT, JT, or flush draw and go all in. There are many more hands he could have than 44.

He probably doesn't have AQ, KQ, AA, or KK, because he didn't pop you with a raise on a flush draw board. He might have badly misplayed 99, JJ, QQ or QJ by just calling you on flop, but probably not....

If you are in desperation mode, about to die off, Ace 4 is a steal hand, but never a hand you call a raise with. Go into hyper aggressive mode and start shoving with any suited cards, offsuited...

With a stack of 12,500 and assuming you were currently ITM position (152 out of 172 or better), I'd make a reraise of at least 5800 (a little less than half of your stack).
