Re: Stars 2/4 6 max October Datamine

I play 2/4 NLHE on Stars and this thread is a bit of revelation. I have been running ice cold this month. But I always thought that 2/4 players on Stars made more. Much much more.

Re: PokerStars: Please fix your annoying-as-hell lobby window

Ok cool. This thread got off to a bad start. But yes, the lobby on PokerStars is flawed. Here are some additional gripes in order of increasing annoyance:

1. Auto-minimize lobby after opening...

Re: PokerStars: Please fix your annoying-as-hell lobby window

Lovely thread. Something is getting fixed, we just don't know what it is. So when it is fixed, we won't know it was even broken. It will be like nothing was broken in the first place. The release...

Re: PokerStars: More than 12 cash game tables at once, possible?

Darn. I was hoping for 16. I believe I can handle that. 12 really is a breeze. Looks like i will have to do a split with FTP and Stars.

Looks like it is high time to get creative with the...

PokerStars: More than 12 cash game tables at once, possible?

Does anyone have this ability? I sent PokerStars an email asking if they could remove the 12 cash game table at-one-time limit for my account. The request was flatly denied. They stated it wasn't...

Re: Ordering Poker Build Tomorrow (Last Minute Critiques)

The setup is very similar to mine. No need for extra RAM like the other guy said. XP won't recognize all of it anyway.

The only critique I have is that, anyone with the amount of funds to build...

Re: Serious monitor decisions for poker/gaming etc.

At least one 30" monitor in your setup. That is all you'll really need. Add two 20" LCD in portrait if you'd like. But it is overkill (I have such a setup). Simply one 30" is more than enough.

Re: New Setup - Is this worth it?

If you have that much money to spend and don't get at least one 30" monitor running at 2560x1600, then you shorted yourself. For poker, such a monitor is unequaled. I have a 30" monitor surrounded...

Random Brag: One Sexy Desktop!

First post in BBV. There are countless brags regarding the setups of others, but mine is about my desktop.

I think I got the sexiest desktop ever.

Big fan of Ana Beatriz Barros. But of...

Re: Starting entire poker setup from scratch

Two 1600x1200 monitors is no longer the gold standard for internet poker. I always thought that was the case, and was in love with my dual 2001fp setup. I even added a third 2001fp for a tri-screen...

Re: New Computer Specs. Your Thoughts?

There is no reason to go with a prefabbed desktop. When it comes to desktops, it is better to build your own system. Your system is strictly vanilla and will get you by for your purposes.

But...

Re: Poker Laptop Decisions

IMO, 15.4" and 17" WUXGA laptops are just equal in terms of viewing for multitabling. Typically, I play six tables on my Dell Inspiron 6000 but when games are good, I go to nine tables. At nine...

Re: transitioning from live NLHE to online w/ lots of questions

I am from San Jose. Because of county restrictions on gaming here, there are no games bigger than 100/200 LHE. So most of my initial live play was in LHE where I was a slight winner after all those...

Re: I want to 4 Table on a Laptop-but want something small

For some reason, Dell no longer offers the WUXGA (1920x1200) panel for the 15.4" Inspiron any longer. But if you want to stick with Dell, you can get a Dell Inspiron 6400 and buy a WUXGA panel from...

Re: transitioning from live NLHE to online w/ lots of questions

On Stars, there is no rakeback. Rackback is available on FTP and other sites. I signed my roommate up for RB through FTP, and he is one of those animal players and he makes $900 a week in RB! Get...
