Re: Trips OOP in limped pot

The thing is that although their limping ranges coulf possibly include a 7, they include so many more hands that i reall don't think you can fold this. in the $5 tourneys i see a lot of guys calling...

Re: Trips OOP in limped pot

yep bet more on flop, and shove here. I think he'll show up 99-JJ a lot here. you're right that 88 probably would've played this slower. these mid pairs are the kind of hands which he would be...

Re: Stars $44 6max question

Well if you push you're being called by at least one hand. you're way ahead of original raiser nd callers range but the question is what about utg+2? has he been calling at all or do you think maybe...

Re: $11 First hand JJ

looks good to me, maybe 120-130 on flop if you're nitpicking. can't see what hand the J helped on the river that would've called the flop so don't see it as a scare card.

what do you do if A/k/Q/...

Re: $27 MTT: Can I make this call on the river?

yeah i call here, i think 2pr if good enough of the time to make it profitable. if he checked flop looking to check raise i think he would raise turn. interesting hand though as it's quite hard to...

Re: $11 Bad play w/ KJs

fold pre-flop, you're too short to be raising KJ from utg.the hands that are calling this raise so often have KJ dominated, this is essentially a bluff, i'd much rather have 78 here pre.

Re: 10+1 MTT: Does Villain have to beat King high straight here?

Don't really mind call pre flop this deep on button, esp if villains been aggro. flop call fine too but whatever you do don't bet 400 on turn, that is a complete nothing bet, either 700 to make him...

Re: i\'m playing too passively against chip leader?

If you're scared of him as an aggro fold pre-flop but once you get to the flop I fon't think you can just give up. Your hand is essentially a bluff so I'm firing as a bluff on the flop or most...

Re: My Story - FezioJnr

$1/45 and $3/45 easy easy easy, then just add on standard tournies as and when you progress, those turbo 45s are a great bR builder though, always.

Re: (MTT noob)Which tournaments to practise for big Sunday tournaments?

lots of stars dailys around that range, including 3r and 5r, all good practice for working through big tournaments changing gears, adjusting to different stages/players. Maybe a few 45s/90s to get...

Re: AQ against raise - 5+R sunday million satellite

sorry didn't see the FT bit.

I think the sat wise-guys will still say this is a fold, you really are flipping at best, and although winning the flip will most prob get you a seat i think you see AK...

Re: 69+6: QQ raise UTG faces kinduv scary raise...what to do?

I can't decide whether this is a really weak squeeze attempt(88+ AJ+) or he's lining himself up for a PSB shove on any board (KK+ AK).

Therefore if you shove he's only folding what you beat except...

Re: AQ against raise - 5+R sunday million satellite

how many left? If thisis FT of a sat it looks like a fold, if he has put in 1/3rd of his stack he is not folding to a reshove. does he know how to play sats? his range is probably mid pps+ and AJ+...

Re: Top set vs unkown

Yeah i used to hear that alot, to keep it the same to disguise your holding. What bonds thing talks about is changing the bet purely to the board texture not to your holding so in respects to...

Re: Top set vs unkown

As for the hand... any reads on guy?

2000-2200 on flop i'd say then shove turn.

I wouldn't be worried about the straight to be honest, remeber that's a river gutterball.

Villains line...

Yah I usually bet 2/3rds or so here but I've changed my standard flop bet to be ~1/2 after watching some of the top players, not sure which I'm liking better yet.

Re: PS 33 10G Easy resteal w/ 88?

Yeah any 3-bet non shove commits you so just shove and pick up the 1400 or so in the middle. However knowing nothing about MP3 i don't mind flatcalling in position and re-evaluating after the flop,...

Re: stars $10 rebuy near bubble

Definately a fold, he is reraising your first raise, which is an utg one, and he is OOP. His range is most likely 88+ and AQ+ IMO,none of which he is laying down to a reshove and calling is horrible....

Re: how often do you guys bet or check call/raise in this spot?

these bigger raises over only 1 limper tend to be a half decent hand in my experience. Aside from that playing 22 OOP is not good so i'd probably fold this or simply play it for set value.

i think...
