Re: NL200 - Over pair; turn paired the board

if he floated the flop with 87 or 88 77 he just got a full house, so i dunno why he wants to raise so bad

to me it looks like a takeaway play, i'd try to put him all in

Re: 99 Squeeze against TAG and Donk

i'd raise to 20$ preflop. 99 is a premium hand, just behind aqo. your play on the flop is aggressive, fine, and probably getting you in trouble because you posted the hand..

Re: nl 200. need a flop line

i woulda reraised to 28$ preflop. easy lead on the flop, and the turn is also a pretty easy lead..that 7 helps you out plenty because you got the MOOOMENTUM

Re: Is it a tarp? Or just shove?

what do u think he will call with?

i guess a2 and q9 both call [but he should have folded preflop] and AJ AK call [although he'd probably reraise both preflop]

the flush got there, but i think...

Re: NL100: Setmining against a TAG who 3bets my preflopraise

66 is in the top 24% of hands, therefore a call is not too bad, but he is probably only raising top 15% up, a fold is also good

Re: 100NL - QQ versus decent TAG on drawy flop

i'd raise, minreraises are often crap, you've got overs and the backdoor draw.

Re: 100NL What do we do on this flop bet into with QQ

i'd raise or at least call.. especially with the backdoor diamond draw, if it's heads up u can bet any non A turn.. and you're HAPPY to bet any diamond turn .. so ..

Re: Deep stack games - making them play YOUR game

let's face it, stealing the blinds is important, and you're all of a sudden spending double the money to steal the same blinds..

Re: \"If you call the turn you have to call river\" theory Q

in my opinion a lot of posters on 2+2 parrot lines that make no sense

like 'you're either way ahead, way behind'
or: 'no better hands will fold, no worse hands will call'

its gibberish, they...

Re: AQ - river 2 pairs, but feel gross

bet 7$ on flop. obviously call his raise, i'd reraise dryer flops here.

turn: bet again! but check/call his bet is ok.

river: obviously the queen completes TJ and other draws , but it also...

Re: [100NL] AA, overpair on flop - standard?

i like the raise on flop
it's aggressive, pushes him off a ton of hands, and i'll often be doing it with less than AA here!! can't flatcall minraises with overpairs, that's just asking to get drawn...

Re: 400NL - Just call river in reraised pot with set?

it looks mostly like straight value betting out of JJ
typically AKo is raised preflop, but it could show up here with some villains

Re: 200NL - Bit confused in 3bet pot

i'd bet again on the turn, it's the cheapest option and quite a scary one

Re: JJ, cb gets raised by very aggro LAG

i'd push, people raise here with a huge range, and folding 2nd pair [JJ at that] on a ragged flop like this is weak

Re: why am i so weak? (2 hands)

hand 1: raise preflop. raise the flop. raise raise raise.

hand 2: bet turn. bet river, and think about his reraise.
