Re: 25NL - Flopped TP in light 3bet pot

3bet is good, you got a good part of the villain's range beat. Flop hits villain's range hard, most likely pair and draw, Fold to reraise.

Re: 3$ TT squeeze

What kind of fish is it? His raising range is 50%? For normal fishes I don't call decent raises by early position. You know he's gonna call you, so it's a coinflip at best.

Re: FT 11$ Bubble AKs

WHY did yo ucome in 4th a whole lot lately? Is it because lots of people don't like to fold and call you with coinflip hands, or you run into monsters alot?

I was playing an SNG (maybe a $114?) late night a little while back and spainsoccer and poker_in_pb were seated next to each other. I was really down to watch some...

Standard. Don't see how else you can play them.

Re: $3.40 PS 10-seat: small overpair vs. all-in. . . .

What kind of raise is 2x mid position? That screams out weak hand, and whoever calls you pretty much can just push you around. As played, fold flop. Mid stack's obviously not afraid of you. You don't...

Re: I disagree with SNGPT in this situation

er, how can this not be a push? You'll be blinded out in 3 cycles and there's still 5 people on the bubble.

Re: Do I play too tight?

So you played 5k+ hands and maintained a 10% ROI. Not bad, but at the higher limits, you're not the only one who plays tight. Could just be variance though.

Re: 25NL - TT as a station

UTG's 1/3 potsize bet looks weak. I'd reraise for sure. Board is to drawy to simply call such a small raise with a good overpair.

Re: 50nl overpair fold

Er... Why did you check the flop? You could at least get a sense of where you're at. If a spade hits turn you'd be in a tougher spot. I'd shove over the turn bet, since the villain is not likely to...

Re: 50NL - how to play my set

Looks fine. I'd raise more on flop due to drawy board.

Re: I feel like I\'m wasting AA by raising pf

Meh having no action is better than getting your aces cracked repeatedly by some dufus who called your AI preflop with K2s. Yes I'm venting.

Re: 100nl JJ on the 8844x board... wut line do u use?

I'd fold. Lots of hands have you beat. Villain could have lingered along with a pair of 4's on the flop. Bluffing with Ad is not likely since the third diamond came on the turn. Only hands you beat...

Re: NL10, KK Flop Top Set, turn made a flush poss, guy checks river.

Sometimes you get no action if you bet too much preflop, so your bet is fine. But that depends on a lot of conditions. On the flop bet the pot due to the flush draw. You really want to play the hand...

Re: 100nl KTo (Timing tell makes me 2nd barrel but now do i vbet river

When the K hit I'd have bet for value too. But looks like villain was slow playing 22's or had KJ. Muck the river bet for sure.
