Re: Pocket 9s in local tourney
[ QUOTE ]
Yes. Shove now. There is absolutely no sense in waiting for the turn on this hand. He is going to be getting better than 2:1 to call your shove now. If he has a reasonable hand he...

Re: $11 180 man- AA early, draw heavy board
This is such a weird all in from UTG+1, the only thing I can put him on is either a flush draw or trips. I would think pocket J or pocket 10s would raise preflop. Maybe a split pot with UTG+1...

Re: Pocket 9s in local tourney
My concern here was the stack sizes, if I push now, (2200 into a pot of 2500) the flush draw has the odds to call. If I call, is it good to fold when the 3rd club falls? That would give me 1700...

Pocket 9s in local tourney
First post in a while, I have been out in the desert playing soldier, and not playing much poker.
Local tourney. $50 buy in, 30min blind levels. 3000t starting stack, first level (25/50)

Re: Pocket Fives in the $27 Rebuy
I agree that I probably should have shoved preflop, but I guess I just wanted to see a flop with position here since I was on the button. I figured it was an easy call, my preflop play was the...

Pocket Fives in the $27 Rebuy
Late in the $27 Rebuy satelite into Sunday's WSOP $650. It's sometime after the 1st break. Blinds are 200/400 with some ante, I think it's still 25. There's about 20 or so left, and only 6 get the...

Re: Early in MTT micro level
I like the raise Preflop, with all the action after the raise, I probably just push to put everyone all in and take the cards as they come. As played, I probably just check this flop, and call...

Re: 4/180 Disguised hand - check/bet from SB
The problem is you really aren't deep enough to simply call preflop. You have 1900 in the pot before you call, your call makes it 2600, and if the BB calls you get 3200 in the pot as was the case in...

Re: Common problem I have - EP with low M
Mondogarage,
I think the 77 is an easy push regardless. You said you were there to win it, so 77 is a great hand to push here. Situations like this really depend on what you want to get out of...

Re: Common problem I have - EP with low M
I'm probably pushing this with this low an M (M~3). You're about to hit the blinds again, and lose 1/3 of your stack if you don't get a hand. I assume only the FT gets paid, but it would suck to...

Re: 4/180 Disguised hand - check/bet from SB
I don't really know why you'd want to disguise a hand like AKo when in such a bad position. With an UTG Raise and CO Call, I'm almost always raising this hand in SB or BB, with stack sizes I'll...

I've got a quick question about Final Tables, live and online. I've been to a decent amount of final tables, both live and online in MTTs, and it seems that some of the time when I make it to a...

Re: AK and i\'m lost
Shove Preflop. When everyone folds you increase your stack by better then 10% and if someone calls you get to look at all 5 cards. The only hands you should be worried about are AA and KK,...

AJo, should I bet out on A high board?
Ok, 4/180 on Stars, after the first break, about 35 left or so. Just moved to a new table so no reads. Sorry no converter I'll do my best. 200/400 blinds with some sort of ante, 25 I think it is....

Re: Trip Jacks - Line Check
I like the flop bet, though maybe a little bigger, 500-600 is what I would do. I like the turn bet as well, but now I'm almost sure he's got either a J, wired 2s, or like stated above, KK+. So on...

JJ at the FT in Stars 4/180
Just a quick question. FT of stars 4/180, we've got 7 left I believe. Blinds are 500/1000 and some sort of ante, if I remember correctly.
Villain ~25,000 UTG
Hero ~33,000 UTG+1 or MP I guess...

Ok, here's a hand from 1.20/45 from stars. There's about 13 people left, my table is currently 6 handed. Blinds are 200/400 with I think 25 ante.
Stacks,
Hero is BB with ~5900
Villain is...

Re: Comments on bubble play?!
push preflop. Play to win, unless sliding your way into the money gives you a significant life changing amount of money.
