why dont you reraise the turn? too many bad cards can come on the river

[/ QUOTE ]

A reraise on the turn basically has to put the villain all in, and because the turn...

call in a heartbeat and fistpump, I usually see AA/KK, AQs etc but i think his range is wide enough that it is a def call

Re: 200NL rivered two pair on a straight ace high board

i raise this every time, and fold to a push. no reason to think you are behind, therefore you should raise for value and let him have a decision

Re: New 1/2 video

absolutely terrible way to distribute the videos. I signed up, and received a link to a 0.5/1NL video which DOES NOT WORK. And no where to find the 1/2NL video.

If you want people to actually...

Re: 99 flop play vs LAG - NL 100

I fold this, 3 way flop, not very unlikely he could have a T, and you are also behind a FD+overs.

Combined with a lot of bad turn cards, this hand could get costy. There will be better spots..

Re: Deepstack 100nl AA

[ QUOTE ]
I'd certainly call turn because AK will probably bet, but if he pots river, I'd probably fold. Who knows, if he's as tight as you say he is, he's probably only showing up with Kings here...

Re: Deepstack 100nl AA

[ QUOTE ]
Checking the flop keeps in Queens, which aren't potting the turn. The pot is also smaller which usually makes for easier decisions. I'd call his turn lead if you checked the flop, though. ...

Re: Deepstack 100nl AA

[ QUOTE ]
I dislike your preflop 4-bet with stacks this deep, especially against such a tight player. I'd rather call his 3-bet and play it hard on a safe flop or slower on a scary flop. As played,...

Re: Deepstack 100nl AA

[ QUOTE ]
If you're so worried about KK just check the flop. After your flop bet I think you have to push the turn.

I don't see how checking the flop helps me. I'd still have...

Re: Deepstack 100nl AA

If he is as supertight as you say, you might be right here, but I think you will see AK some % of the time. I probably get stacked here though.

Deepstack 100nl AA

Hey all, I am seriously having problems with this hand. I guess I either donked it out really good, or made a very nice laydown.

Villain is a supertight player. We had been playing at the same...

Re: 200nl, set vs a nit, how do i get his stack?

I think the best move is to lead out the flop, since he will have to reraise you with any overpair and therefor have a lot more invested when you push back. This is making it harder for him to fold...

Re: Does he have the K?

I dont agree with him showing AI with the king on the river. Normally people show with weaker hands show it AI, while others, who desperately want a call leaves behind like 10-30, depending on the...

Re: I am so confused at a limp-raise after limper 200nl

I think you are misunderstading me a bit, and I formulated my opinions bad. What I say is that you either give up the hand when you see the flop comes K high (since you are probably behind), but if...

Re: NL100 QQ?

Or a set of nines. This flatcall flop, minraise turn then bet river [censored] is usually trips or sth very strong, so I think its very possible to fold the river. A raise is absolutely out of the...

Re: I am so confused at a limp-raise after limper 200nl

I would reraise here all the time, since it's a good chance that CO thinks you might be on a steal and wants to test your hand. Also, playing OOP without any more info on what CO might hold is in...
