Re: How do you handle the online poker today?

Insta call with J3o, yeah right. If that was true wild horses shouldn't have been able to drag you away from that action.

Clearly wrong. 2/10 maybe a 2.5.

3 would be way too generous though.

Re: 3bet fun- whats a good calling range here vs villains flop shove?

You will see A6, A5 and 56 a lot here I think as well as sets. The occasional retarded PP 77-JJ. Having said that it is close as whether he has A9+ enough here also to call. I expect the pot is...

Re: NL50: my two pair checkraised on turn by a TAG

There is not a lot you can do here with flopped bottom 2 when a TAG looks like he wants to play for stacks. This is very rarely a worse hand and you have very few outs against his range he does this...

When thinking about prelfop you need to include the effect on your image. Maybe not with 85s, but if the hand is 72s its pure gold to crack AA.

One hand I remember is me...

Oink what a great thread. I know you looked into this initially for your own benefit but it lots of players, including me, will gain a ton from it also. Once you gain a solid post-flop game the...

Re: River call? I was done with the hand... 2/4

You must call here. A villains range for betting here after you check turn is huge and you will be ahead way more than you need to make this +EV.

Hand 2: Why is everyone disgusted with the flop play?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because the pot is large and I have the likely best hand and should be getting as many bets in as possible.

Re: Call? Cap? Value bet?

Miles do you call hand 1 on river if it is non broadway?

44 pre raise was just a "cause I fancy it" play rather than any routine play. UTG limp capping pre is a slight concern but AA is the only...

Re: To cold call or raise?

You don't need to have >50% equity to 3 bet pre. You have an overlay from the blinds and limper assuming they fold (limper calling is fine too) and have position for the hand.

Call? Cap? Value bet?
