Re: NLTRN - A8 vs frequent min-raiser

If he is min raising 90-100% of hands I would shove, since he is essentially making it a 100 BB game and then you are only 13 deep. If he is raising less then that then it is ackward. I am a weak...

Re: $11 NLTRN - facing a weird river bet

I would fold without a huge read. One guy I saw river a huge hand and bet 1/4 pot. I called and lost. About 10 hands later the river completed a draw and he bet pot. I called and he had air. Unless...

Re: $10 HU SnG\'s - Move Up?

The 20s should only be a tiny bit harder. I would guess maybe a 1-3% drop in ROI if you play the same but that makes it easily worthwhile.

Re: $80 HUSNG, Does Villain ever fold a (bad) boat?

It's ok to limp if you aren't likely to be raised. Don't try to be people off a full house though, unless you know they can make hard laydowns.

Re: $6: NLTRN: Call down or raise

I'm not too sure about the average $6 villian but I am raising the flop. If not the flop, then the turn for sure.

Re: What is villain telling me he has? [NTRL]

Easy easy call. I am guessing he has something like A6 and you are way ahead of his range.

Re: Help with a Hand (nl live hutrn $200)

He could also have ATC since he knows you have to fold without an ace or king. Obviously him having the K isn't a shocker, but it is still the correct call based on how you described the villian. You...

Re: $10 HUSNG - JTo early on

I disagree on shoving flop but shove turn for sure.

Re: Help with a Hand (nl live hutrn $200)

You are getting just better then 2:1. No way the 2/3 of the hands is shoving beats you. In fact, even for an aggro player, I think a K is a small part of his range since he would probably check 1...

Re: 100nl i stack off with A high?

I don't play cash but I think this is an easy fold.

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****

I'd call w/ the AA. You are probably looking at a chop, so you need to protect the money you already have in the pot.

Re: ******November Goals Thread******

I don't think most of the 110 players are amazing but I do not consider myself to be that great yet. I am sure I could beat the average $110 players, but I can beat the the below average player more...

Re: ******November Goals Thread******

Very low variance is the only reason to grind out 500 22s at 20% ROI.

I've found my move from the 55s to the 110s so easy. At the 55s I barely game select since they fill so fast. At the 110s I...

Re: $6 NLTRN- AK 3betted

Its a $6 so I am guessing a lot of worse hands would call a shove.

Re: T9 5sng.. I want to shove.

I agree that it is a mistake to be too sure he is on a draw. If he has ace then I am sure he will call a push and you are only 20%

Re: Raise Size

I think the call and shove on turn is a good line. If he doesn't lead turn I'd probably bet about 3/4 pot and shove river unless the board got really screwy.

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****

Hmmm, interesting. Often I would shove the 33; I get the feeling I look at hands a little different here than I do when I am playing. I am still unsure about pushing here though. I've found myself...

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****

i like the stop and go shove w/ 33. You are still deep. If the flop si something like AQ7 you are out 90 chips and on to the mext hand.

Re: NLTRN - My Tilt: Competitor trumps Brain, for now

Playing music helps me a lot. And if you feel the need to hit something, do so, such as a punching bag. It can help.

Re: NLTRN Playing big aces OOP

I am a SNG player so it's a bit different. Aagaint people who will fold missed flops I would 3 bet and cBet the flop. Against loose post flop players I would just CC A10/AJ and figure you can still...

Re: NLTRN 55: bluffing the river with a missed draw

cBet flop. when the spade comes, 2 barrell it. good fold chance on 2nd barrell, and if you hit river he has no idea
