Re: so i fold an overpair in a reraised pot (nl200)

[ QUOTE ]
by folding this river, you are saying that his PF calling range is essentially TT+, AK .. if that's his range, and you think he folds TT/JJ to a larger (standard) 3-bet, then you probably...

Re: Moving from $100 to $200

On the site I play (a Prima skin, only EU players) I actually found it was the biggest difference yet, and I started on NL5 tables.

The biggest difference is that you will not get paid off as...

Re: WTF!

I found the hand.. I had KK. Not QQ.

I had a reliable read. One short stack player raised in MP, I called in the CO with KK and was about 75% sure the B would squeeze in that position. He did, the...

Re: WTF!

I have actually done this once or twice when I had an aggressive opponent behind me who loved to squeeze. Thought it was a pretty good move at the time as he did indeed squeeze me and folded to a...

Re: My first graph - NOV

I don't think these are small stakes. It's 1/2 in pounds, which is basically NL400 in dollars. And we're both talking about PTBB, right? So you have over 30 big blinds per 100 hands for over 50k...

Re: My first graph - NOV

Someone has to say this, right? There is now way in hell you can sustain this. You are running at about 16PTBB/100, which is sick. Even half of that would be very, very good. You could be gods gift...

Re: I folded a set for 100bb\'s

[ QUOTE ]
yeah but a ton of TAGs at 200nl really really suck and can't fold a nut draw for 100bbs, and never would consider folding 45ss or something either.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you saying the TAG...

Re: Converter for PokerOffice hand histories for forum posting

Doesn't PokerOffice store the original hand history? I don't think it has a format for itself, but just pulls up the one your poker client uses.

Re: 200 nl AK pre against 67/2 donk

Usually, I muck everything but AA or KK to limp reraises from players like that and feel good about it. Itīs a dead give away, but in this situation I don't know if I'd have the discipline to lay it...

FWIW, i actually called his turn bet. River went check, check and villain showed AKo, MHIG /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: 100nl: shoving turn with middle pair is FUN!

Don't think so, I was talking about pots. You're talking about winnings when you lose and pots when you win.

You'll win a $37,50 pot (of which $11 is yours, so +$26,50) if he folds or lose a...

Re: 100nl: shoving turn with middle pair is FUN!

[ QUOTE ]
I think he will call with 2pr, sets and the str8. He should fold everything else right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Excactly. So you either win a $37 pot or lose a $200 pot. Doesn't sound like a...

Re: Bankroll beginnings

I got $50 for free at Party through some bonus code on a website around November 2006. Played 25NL and I got it up to $140 and then down to about $10. I learned quite a bit over that period though.

Re: QQ OOP in 3bet pot

C/R the flop is fine, but I would fold the turn. The most likely hands I see him pushing the turn with are AA, KK and AK or AQ with one or 2 diamonds. You are behind this range. Add in JJ and it's a...

Re: 100nl: Two 4bet shoves with AQ

That doesn't really make sense. If you're never folding to a shove it makes no difference how big you 4-bet. If you 4-bet smaller and he always folds crap then who cares how big you 4-bet, you win...

Before you bet the flop you should ask yourself what you're going to do if he raises you. If you feel you have to fold and there's a chance you're laying down the best hand, as is the case here...

Re: betpot prima not working after update?

Just right-click the betpot system tray icon, edit the script and replace all $ with €, save the script somewhere and then double click it. Works for me.

Re: I folded AA am I a huge nit?

If he called the turn there'd be $120 in the pot and the SB would have $43 behind. There's nothing to evaluate on the river then, you're commited.
