Re: yay me managed to turn pkt kings into a bluff

[ QUOTE ]
I don't see why the raise is so bad. There was a call of the raise, so my standard would be 4x the original raise, which is 720. A raise to 480 or 540 as some suggested here is horrible...

Re: $5+0.50 rebuy frenzy on Pokerroom - how to play these situations

A couple of quick points.

You say shorties are pushing (presumably very light) from all over the place because they are needing to double up. This is the correct strategy from them.

You can...

Re: The Dollar Plunges Further

[ QUOTE ]
It's convenient for Sarkozy to blame his anemic economy on outside forces rather than the French government take responsibility itself. France hates the weak dollar, (and conversely, the...

Re: Stars 4/180 - JJ in early position, facing the A on the flop

I'm leading out on this flop most of the time. And all of the time in a 4/180. If you get any resistance here you can lay it down then, but I really don't like check/folding here.

I'm also leading...

Firstly you should give your posts a more meaningful subject. Yours applies to all posts here. Try and include the buy-in and a bit about the hand.

Having said that though your post is...

Re: How about a 2+2 SSMTT

They used to have these I'm sure. The password was 'trout'.

It was for all the MTT community, but the buy-in was only $11/$22 so most could join.

There was one for the East US, and one for the...

Re: $10 27 player -- misplayed monster draw?

I don't like leading out here.

1) You can't be at all sure from the information given that villain will re-raise you (is he really doing that light?), but we think strongly he'll bet once with...

In an insurance scheme those people who really need the cover - the poor, and those...

Yeah, with the absence of any FE you should be pushing any above-average hand here - which you have (just).

Re: Is this play remotely defensible (Sunday Hundred Grand, very long)

Its for your own good not to post results. If you don't then you'll get lots of people saying "KQ plays really badly against a raise as there's too big a chance you are dominated".
