Re: FT of a $33, BvB

I usually burn my fingers as well, so lately I slowed down in the SB

This one is read dependent. Against a tight player, raise 3 times (without antes 2,5) against a loose passive player that will...

Re: JJ from early position

[ QUOTE ]
Oh, didn't see that, my bad. Base on his flat call here, I think he is most likely holding a pp smaller than yours. He is probably re raising with AK here. The only hand I would be afraid...

Re: play this with me 10 10 facing a mp min raise

You right kenny, it's allmost 30 %

But what are we hoping for with a push? He will not fold PF and an awfull lot of the time we will see JJ+ (probably KK+), some times "only" AQ+ and allmost never...

Re: play this with me 10 10 facing a mp min raise

[ QUOTE ]
Huh? Are you really going to put in 30% of your stack and then fold to a raise???

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought it was calling 300 out of my 3900 stack??? Less than 10 %

Re: 99 in BB, uncomfortable stack sizes

[ QUOTE ]
I'm a little suspicious of an UTG min raise. However, unless I know a lot about the player, I'm not going to automatically assume that my 99 is no good. I think it's very likely that 99 is...

Re: A Preemptive Strike

I would never make that move UTG+1 unless I really have to. Wait til you sitting late to push that hand. You are in push mode but not UTG+1 with ATo

Re: whats your play ???

Any reads would be nice, and what reads do they have on you?

This looks like a standard squeeze to me. You try to steal the blinds, SB have a decent hand and calls, BB pushes to steal. I would...

Re: play this with me 10 10 facing a mp min raise

You don't have any reads? A min-raise can mean a lot, but in a low buy-in tournament this could mean a strong hand (AA, KK) trying to trap - proceed with caution.

You cannot make him fold PF...

Re: Kinduv awkward stacks for a 3-bet

awful spot!
I would never call being out of position. If we reraise then we're almost potcommited so we might just shove. But we are - based on your reads - probably in the lower end of his range....

standard shove? - Party 20$ MTT

We're in the money with 27 left. Pay out is top heavy and I play to win

Villian is standard. He needs to push something like 55+, Ax, KQ and possible lots more.
Anyone not shoving?

Party...

Re: Tough spot late in 10$ single rebuy

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop is the toughest part of the hand. MP2's range is pretty wide so I like the call.

Flop- I would think we are ahead on the flop here more often than not, I dont like folding, but...

Re: 66 UTG on Final Table Bubble

Raise more PF! Even without the other caller BB will have to put in 2600 to see a flop with 10400 in - those are nice odds. Even the caller gets excellent odds when you rasie this small

As played,...

Re: AJs....put him all-in on flop or is bet size ok here?

Why did you raise PF? I would have called and tried to see a cheap flop with that hand.
Villian is calling almost 10% of his stack, so his either stupid or slow-playing a monster - based on his...

Re: Bubble Situation - Small Stack UTG w/ AKo

Awful spot, but I would push. Big stacks should fold to your push since they have already qualified. So you are only afraid of the two small stacks and they will need very, very good hands to call....

I don't.

Raise pf, as played c/raise flop or lead flop dependent on reads on villian.

Re: $3R for $650 Qualifier

Depending on my read on UTG I would push PF. There is approx. 25% your stack in the pot.
As played, you have to make a pot size bet on the flop with 5 players seeing the flop, but that will commit...

Re: $10- 88 on button early facing MP raise

I would never call. Any heart or over card kills you. Raise big or just push. Most of the time this will be a flush/straight draw from SB and two high cards from MP1. MP1 would have raised with a...

Re: Simple Call Or Fold From BB w/ 88

[ QUOTE ]
fold imo, your either way behind or tossing at best and its too early to take that big a chance.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would hate it, but I would fold and wait for a better spot

Re: 16$ : AJs, mid blind

Raise pre flop is OK. On the flop - which you missed completely - you're pot commited if you do anything. I would check behind. On turn, I would push as a semi bluff.

Re: $110 + $9 Sit & Go : Right Call?

without any reads I would fold and wait for a better spot. At best it's a coin flip vs AJ+

Chip leader question, FTP 22+2$

First post

Being chip leader means aggression, but how much? Would you have palyed it differently (yes, I lost but that's not the point). What if we had Pocket 88?

Full Tilt Poker No-Limit...
