Re: (27) A9o: overpush to isolate?

Calling is a bad decision, in my opinion. A call is essentially half your stack -- will you then fold to a push from the BB? If not, you might as well get it in there up front and hope he doesn't...

Re: 6.5: KK with an A on the flop

[ QUOTE ]
Flop is a really clear check.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm curious....If you check the flop, how do you play the turn if he pushes, and how do you play it if he checks again?

Personally, I'm...

Re: Recommend good books dedicated to online SNGs?

Thanks for the advice -- I had a feeling that this forum, plus tools like SNGPT which I already use, would be the best things to keep improving my game.

Recommend good books dedicated to online SNGs?

I have all three Harrington on Hold 'Em books, and they have helped me improve my game tremendously. Now I am looking for a good book devoted strictly to online SNGs. Does anyone have any...

Re: 27: A7 2BBs left

I think it's a push, with or without a read. Odds are your next couple of hands won't be any better than this one.

$22 Pokerstars -- Did I push too hard with AA?

Is $600 into an $800 pot too large a bet after the flop? Any opinions on the pre-flop raise?

Re: 55$ - Fold Two Pair on the Bubble?

It's certainly a possibility that the big stack is semi-bluffing here, as he can get some strong hands to fold because of the bubble situation. But with that said, I am still folding, because with a...

Re: PS11 => Vilain range...

In the $11s, it's impossible to tell without any good reads. I play $11s and $22s, and I would never re-raise this early with less than AA. But there are plenty of nuts in the $11s who will go all...

Re: PS11 => Vilain range...

Even though the 11s are faily loose, I think you are putting him on too large a range after his re-raise. There is no way he's re-raising with A10, AJ, or 10 10. I would expect QQ or AA -- your...

Re: Weird Q,Q bubble hand

This is a tough one. If UTG is solid, you have to figure he has the same read on the SB as you do, and his calling range could be large enough that you have him beat as well. I'm in the money...

Re: $22 - Bubble with flopped set

Four-handed, with two folds and a completion from the small blind, I am pushing this every time.

$22 PokerStars -- Pocket 10s facing early raise on bubble

I'm looking for some advice here. Villian hasn't shown down many hands at this point, so no great read. He flopped a few monsters early to give himself that chip stack. Should I have pushed...

$22 Horrible call with AK on bubble?

I'm still kicking myself over this play on the bubble. Is it a totally horrible call on my part? Villian is aggressive and seems fairly solid. (Results in white)

Re: ($27) Bottom 2pair from BB, line check

He had KQ? Isn't it amazing how you can spend so much time and energy trying to put an opponent on a hand, just to have him turn over a hand like that? Makes me scratch my head every time.

Re: push the 77s?

His range for raising from the button is pretty big, so I am definitely pushing here with 7 7.

Re: 60s tough JJ early

I hate JJ, especially in early position, so I would have bet more pre-flop (probably $100) to discourage the A-x folks from sticking around. I also would have pushed harder after the flop to make...

Re: (16t) Bubble push ... did I do goot?

Button should fold here with anything less than KK or AA -- seems like a easy push to me.

Re: ($11) Bubble re-push with crap when microstack folded

I understand the theory being pushing -- the small blind would need a monster hand to call with the smallstack being so close to elimination. But even with that said, I am not playing this here. If...
