I think you missed my point - that if someone is going to sign up at Party anyway for the usual 20% up to $100 - the extra $400 is a bonus you wouldn't get. I don't think this is to replace rakeback...

Actually, 12K raked hands is a good deal, because normally the signup bonus is 20% up to $100. The extra $400 is a gift if you're going to play anyway. And there is nothing close to this on the site...
