Re: Style and stats for 0.02/0.04?

I played that level for a few months when I first started. It's a relatively painless place to learn your way around the preflop starting hands, and to work on hand reading. I still play at that...

Re: Fishy plays make for baited calls?

I call, sadly, then take notes if he's the kind of player who hangs in there for a lone overcard, or the kind who tries to bluff the occasional river.

I raise because I feel confident we will hit a flush by the river, proably by spiking the J.

Re: AQ

Raise for sure. I win a fair number of small pots betting out second pair on the turn scare card when the flop is checked around - that could well be what SB is doing. Some people will call you...

Re: TPTK in position vs flush board

Call, cry probably 70% of the time when he shows you a boat, be glad you didn't fold 25% of the time when he mucks two pair and a missed flush draw. Be really glad you didn't fold 5% of the time...

Re: call or raise on the flop? and call or cap on the turn?

I'd fold with a 4th diamond. He might be bluffing it, but probably not, especially given his turn aggression.

SB is 37% VPIP, super aggressive, but I only have 57 hands on him so it could be muck. I don't know UTG, UTG +2 is the classic fish, plays crap out of position and sucks postflop.

Re: KK for value on the river?

I'd bet and call a raise. Enough players raise when they see 2 pair to make a call profitable. Against the right player I'd consider a 3bet, but only rarely.

Re: Multi-tabling (how the heck do y\'all do it)

I'd also add that moving up limits while multitabling is best done (IMO) one table at a time. So if I'm 3 tabling and reach a threshold to move up, I'll play one table at the higher limit, and 2 at...

Re: Multi-tabling (how the heck do y\'all do it)

Lately I've been focusing a lot on table and seat selection when multitabling. I play 3 tables, but it usually takes me the first 15-20 minutes of a session before I'm actually sitting somewhere I...

Re: K5s What to do

Good point. No I don't - depends on the players and the board. But with this kind of board I'd let it go.

Re: Pocket 8s under the gun. Call or Raise?

I tend to limp about 70%, fold about 20%, and raise about 10% - it all depends on the table and who is sitting where.

FWIW I am slightly profitable over the last 18,000 hands with 77+ utg. Lower...

Flopped set

I've been avoiding pp under 77 utg lately, but decided to limp this one because it was a fairly passive table (avg about 50% vpip).

That said, all the villains that I had any stats on were quite...
