Re: Tough turn decision on draw heavy board

Mhe, it probably ain't that tough after all. He doesn't need to have a worse hand very often...

Tough turn decision on draw heavy board

Haven't played with villain for long and I have no real read on him. Do you call or fold?

Re: 78s line deep: 600NL

I like a call pre-flop, b/c we will be able to make him do bigger mistakes on flop and later streets.

Re: QQ how to play?

[ QUOTE ]
I fold preflop vs 17/14 3 betting an UTG raiser

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, seriously. There isn't a flop w/o a Q that we are going to feel comfortably with getting it in.

Re: NL400 Deep w/ Top Two

Don't raise flop if you don't know how to respond to a re-raise. As played I would. Nits ain't playing like this with 98s or 78s very frequently in my experience. I think he holds 77 a ton.

Re: Squeezing 2 TAGs oop

I bet... b/c he will not bluff with JJ-99 and therefore we could just bet and avoid being 2 outed.

Re: KK vs reg raised pot how to play

Yeah, true. I forgot about the extra BB... it makes it a little tougher. But if we call, what turns are we getting it in on?

Re: KK vs reg raised pot how to play

I probably just get in on flop if he's somewhat aggressive. By the way, why the "weird" pf raise? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yeah, I usually bet bigger, dunno why I bet 12 on this one. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Re: Fire turn and river?

My reasoning is most TAGs are raising flop with sets and flushdraws. Therefore his range is pretty weak and he shouldn't be able to call down with the most part of his range.

To thin value?

Villain is unknown to me. But he's probably some random donk. The villain who folded on turn is a TAG by the way. To thin? By the way the reason I pushed is because there is a lot of combos of 5x and...

Fire turn and river?

He seems like a TAG. No history. Fire this turn and river? Or just give up?

Fold top two?

Unknown villain. I'm running horrible and want to make a sanity check. This call is fine, isn't it?

Re: 400nl big fold vs. tufts

I think this is a weak jack pretty often. Some other hand that I'm thinking of is something like T9d or 89d. But a raise would be pretty sick. I probably play it the safe way and fold.

Re: 400nl draw vs. lag

If he's really aggro I don't mind a bet/3-bet all-in on flop actually.

As played it's pretty tricky to play turn and river. Dunno really what to do. Perhaps I would bet turn and shove river if he...

Re: misplayed JJ?

Mhe, I would probably play it the same. The A is a good bluff card for him, but it also hits a decent part of his range.

id flat call the flop or reraise preflop. the call preflop/raise flop line doesnt seem good to me at all. against what range is that better than re-raising preflop?
