Re: 50NL - AQs in BB multiway

I'd probably call preflop because the hand is suited. If you flop a big draw you can c/r all-in, which adds extra ways the hand has value. I'd only reraise preflop if I thought he'd fold to a c-bet...

Re: Big Pot Bottom set nl100

[ QUOTE ]
your range includes a ton of unequally weighted flush hands and not enough random one pair plus spade and two pair hands and is really worthless.

Re: Big Pot Bottom set nl100

Now matter how loose aggro this guy had been, his massive c/r in a five person pot screams monster to me. I think he either has a flush or 44 if he's value betting. If he's only value betting,

lol, so this guy only flat calls a 4x raise pf in the BB w/ AK or KK? that blind spew would almost be as bad as the fold...

Re: Easy Fold with 2 Pair?

I think you're pot committed against most opponents after you bet $25 on the turn. If your read is that the guy does not semi-bluff or bluff at all then you're way behind his range and the fold is...

Re: 100NL: Fold my Full House?

I agree with the other posters about all streets. On the river you're getting better than 2:1 pot odds. I agree w/ you that katoosi is pushing for value almost always. There are six ways for him...

Re: 10NL - KK overpair - all-in decision on the flop

[ QUOTE ]
Interesting analysis. But didn't you count 1 QQ too many?

After looking at the pot odds it seems closer than I thought

Re: 10NL - KK overpair - all-in decision on the flop

This one is call I think.

I'd put him on AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT,55,JTs,or KQ. Pocket pairs have 6 possible ways of being dealt and non pairs have 16. You also have to consider the liklihood that the...

Agree looks like a big draw to me.

What do you expect him to do with 2 pair+, all of which are crushing 97? He's almost always going to raise those hands, but he's only...

Re: QQ against known oponent

I think you should have 3-bet the flop. It's SB/BB and you have a LAGGY image vs. a smart player. His raise does not necesarily indicate strength, but it could well be a flush draw. I'd have made...

I think I am leaning towards rockus on this one. I just feel that a near pot sized bet is only getting called by hands that beat us...especially because we are pretty much pot committed...

Re: I really wanna talk about....

Being OOP against a good player with a middle pair is likely -EV. Why was the plan preflop to flat call, not reraise? Were you set mining? Did you think he would c-bet whiffed hands and give up? ...

Re: Semi-deep AA against good villain

On the flop the villain stands to win Hero's whole preflop stack plus the blinds plus the bet the villain put in preflop.

That amount would be $78.70 + $3 + $9 = $90.70.

I think his EV for...

Re: Semi-deep AA against good villain

EMC. Preflop and on the flop, your betsizes were large enough to deny him the implied odds he needs to stack you with T9s. After he calls the flop, I'd put him on AK, KQ, 99, 55, QQ, JJ or KK. He...

Re: NL50 | AA on gross board

Playing OOP makes all the difference to me. I'd want to make it $20 preflop so I could open shove the flop. The easiest way is likely to be the most +EV here because you'll never make a mistake. ...

Re: Leading into PFReraiser w/1010 on a AA4 board.

Against a tight preflop reraiser, any PP that's not KK is crushed by the reraiser's range. Making moves when the villain is likely strong allows him to think on the zeroth level and make money from...

Re: AA turn fold on paired turn

I agree with the bigger flop bet, and I think it's a semi-easy fold on the turn. However, If he's nuts I can see him making this move with a Jack, so part of me wants to call. Im folding...

Re: PS 10NL bottom set faces aggression line check

With such LAG stats, a wet board, and no c-bet on the flop, I don't think MP was strong on the flop. You are repping QJ and KT when you donk the turn for a large bet. 44 is also possible for you. ...

Re: play this hand with me grinders.

Let's check out the EV here. A nitty villain has KK or AA the vast majority of the time after he reraises preflop.

If stacks go in, the final pot will be~$125. Rake will take that number down...

Re: Turn bluff with K10

Don't bluff a donkey unless you have a read that he's a weak tight loose passive player.

Re: KQ flops straight against LAG, river I am lost

FWIW, I'd say it's call, but not a huge +EV call as played.

If you think the guy is so aggressive that he's pushing a bluff over the top of your blocking-ish bet, then I think the optimal river...

Re: Line check these two hands (10nl stars)

Hand 2: I would just call the flop. If he's get QJ and he won't fold it, then he's not folding when you...
