Re: 50NLTRN - top 2pr - turn action

I switched position during the hand, ninja-style.

You're right, PF is wrong. He must have raised to 60 and I called. Sorry about that.

50NLTRN - top 2pr - turn action

50NLTRN – I have a slight lead, 1650-1350.

JTo I make it 60. Villain calls. Villain is bad. Very loose and aggro.

Flop is JT4 with 2 hearts. He bets 90. I c/r him to 270. He calls.

50NLTRN - bet size

1st hand of match. SS stats aren't great, but not bad either. Slight winning player over a small sample.

Don't have the HH, so here goes...

Villain raises to 60, I call with QJo.

Flop is...

Re: PF reraise spot

Ok, good. I usually fold with a KQ type of hand. Same goes for a mid PP - 66-TT.

Now "78s" type of hands, is another story. I like to call with this type of hand. Is this a leak?

The first and last time I went to one of these, I had the runs for a week. I refuse to certify this as "goodness."

PF reraise spot NLTRN

So, this is a spot that confuses me sometimes. I'm playing a fairly straightforward player. Nothing fancy, just ABC.

So I'm raising in position alot. Enough that he should be feeling like I'm...

Re: badly played but good fold? [NLTRN]

Get it in on flop. It's a $6 tourney. He'll call with a J.

I just heard this version the other day. Awesome riffs throughout the song. Great song...

Re: stupid spot

Obie,

Can you be a little more clear on what part of the post is a no? Part of it? The whole thing? Even the part about the river being special?

Thanks.

Re: NLTRN: When blinds are big, when blinds are small.

I do this sometimes when I'm playing with scared money. I end up losing everytime, as I keep digging myself further and further into my passive little hole.

Re: nl cash 2/4 -- prob boring

just to be clear, you raised to 12 PF right? It's not in the original post, but i'm sure this was assumed.

Re: nl cash 2/4 -- prob boring

Value, I'm thinking. I don't think he'll call though. What about a smaller value-bet. Obviously with the plan of calling an induced bluff.

Re: stupid spot

Dammit, that's a special river, but I don't think it changes your hand strength vs his possible holdings.

Push, j/k. Hmmm, without a solid read I guess I'd fold.

If I was in the game though,...
