Re: JJ OOP, ugggh

I like your line here. He probably calls your river bet with a queen. If you check and he has a straight, he bets and you may call him anyway. I really dont see how that straight hit him though. He...

Re: [nl 100] 2pair against river shove

POt is too small to defend against a small blinds range. He could easily have A5 or 56s here. You need to define the sterength of your hand better here. Either by leading turn or river. Or by c/r...

Re: Trip queens on river, bet, allin or check behind?

You have to raise pot on flop. Usually when people bet weak into raiser on flop they are weak or they have a set. Either way you are in good shape here. Turn bet looks good. The only hand I can see...

I know it is detailed and do not expect many to reply, but if anyone has the time & patience to anaylze some hands, they can, if not, no big deal. Reply to other posts. There are lots of them.

Looking for leaks in my game .25/.50-$1-2 NL Hold-em

I am looking for leaks and I was told on this forum that the best way to do this would be to post a series of hands so here it is. Most of these hands I am destined to lose money, but I want how I...

Re: ? how opponent played Queens

I just want to know what would you do with queens to large 4-bet pre-flop. Also wanted to know if my raise pre-flop was appropiate or if I should just overbet all-in.

Re: AJ Squeeze, flops Ace, river?

no. Im shoving or checking.

Hes going to make a hero call or not, im going to let him make a big mistake.

How does checking allow him to make a big mistake? Push if that is what...

Re: AJ Squeeze, flops Ace, river?

[ QUOTE ]
this is close. I'd probably check here.

I don't see villian having a hand that beat us. At the same time, I don't see villian calling a shove.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is why a small...

Re: AJ Squeeze, flops Ace, river?

I see your point but I don't see the value in shoving. What can hero beat that would gete called. In my expeerience, these small river bets are consistently paid off against passive players and...

Re: 200nl: qq preflop against tag

Lets look at this way. I will throw out random numbers here. If he bets $35 on flop and you min raise or raise to say $80. How is that worse than calling $35 on flop and $35-$45 bet on the turn? The...

Re: 200nl: qq preflop against tag

None taken, that is what these forums are for. My point is, If he r/r all-in on you, you know for a fact he has Aces or Kings so you then can confidently fold. If you call flop and fold to turn bet,...

Re: AJ Squeeze, flops Ace, river?

I like checking or shoving, A shove only gets called if you are beat, no real value there. I think you should make a small bet of $20 or so, he should call that with Kings or Queens. While he is...

Re: I Think He Is Trying To \"See Where He Is At\"

One thing to think about is he may be protecting a smaller flush. He may have called pf with 9d,10d or jd,10d. He may be afraid that you hold the Qd or Kd with the Ace. With that in mind. I would...

Re: 200nl: qq preflop against tag

If he has Aces or Kings, he probably will not let you get to a cheap showdown. I would call 3-bet and raise bet on flop. Establish the strength of your hand. If he goes all-in after raise, you know...

Re: C-Betting and Second barreling

This is a situation that happens all the time heads-up. The way I handle it is to c-bet on flop and bet turn scare card if it comes. If not, shut-down and try to get the river cheap. Consider calling...
