Re: BB defence in 3way pot

[ QUOTE ]
Unlike what most seem to think its pretty easy to play the junk postflop as you can pretty easily peel any flop and apply a fit or fold strategy on the turn .

Re: Maybe a leak

First i wouldnt show villain names in the hands most converters can make them anonymous.

1) UTG seems not weak/tight he looks weird.
He open limps/calls UTG even slowplayed AA limp/3bet preflop....

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?

Your right oink. I made a mistake and thought that OC cant continue to call b/c of the small potsize. But any OC + gutshot combi has 10 Outs and has an easy c/c at this turn.

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?

Vilain will fold most worse hands on the turn and very rare fold a better thats why i dont see the value in a turnbet. If he is able to bluff c/r the turn its another reason to check behind.

I...

Re: Top pair raised on the turn

I calldown.

If villain is very passive its still a calldown.

What could be the range of a passive player?
AK, AQ, A9, A4, 99, 44, 94 wouldnt raise the turn, they always donk or c/r the flop....

Re: A preflop question

I trust the good players here when they advice a 3bet.

From my parttime player perspective the small preflop edge seems to be counterfied because there are plenty of big postflop mistakes waiting...

Re: AA faces turn aggression

AF 0,5 is pretty passive but 150 hands is not enough for me to calldown AA here in this spot.

I still think villain is able to limp AK preflop or donk this turn with a TPWK + flushcombo.

Re: AA faces turn aggression

Nice hand.

You cant change into calldown mode after his donk on this turncard. He can overplay AK, or any 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif combo with a K or 9.

Re: Calling 3 bets cold

Sometimes JJ,TT in SB against reasonable raisers.
You play the complete hand OOP, dont have a big preflop edge and dont want to have the initiative here.

I'm not sure were i read this concept...

Re: flop quads, how do I extract maximum value?

I would call the flop planning to raise the turn.

We can hope for an overcall from sb with a marginal holding maybe a single /images/graemlins/spade.gif. BB seems passive and holds a strong hand...

Re: KJ suited UTG

Any stats about villains aggression factor?
What is villains coldcalling range (PP, KQ, Kx, Ax, suited broadways ...).

If you want to be more aggressive 3bet the flop. Villain can hold a TT-22,...

Re: to raise or not to raise

Preflop is close.

I calldown from flop. Any aggression should make a non A hand fold. The chance to be dominated from 44, or a higher A is imho bigger than dominating a smaller A. Let them bluff...

Re: can i give this up?

With 6,25:1 potodds we need 6-7 outs but only draw to 4 outs.

Villain stats look pretty solid. I agree this looks like a fold but i doubt i'm good enough to fold this in the heat of the game.

Re: J8 call down

I would lead the flop. No one has shown any aggresion why do you try to trap them? The c/r blows up the pot, you hold a marginal hand OOP. I dont like it.

The rivercard is scary would you have...

Re: hmmm value bet this?

I think you played it fine.

You try to take the pot at the flop and got 2 callers. The turn A is definitly in UTGs range. The pot is tiny an we have to fold to a raise so we try to get a free...

Re: yucky QQ spot

First we cant c/f here. The alternative is c/c, b/f or b/c.

I would B/f when i can trust villain.
Because i cant see a worse hand calling this river there should be no value in a bet. I think...

Re: Do I fold too much?

After reading a lot of Oinks posts i dont think he has the weakness of overestimate the skills of his opponents. One of his strengths is that he can adapt his game and making opponent dependent play....

Re: Edge over too loose players and \"max looseness\"

I believe that the max looseness you can run is 70 VPIP.

Can you give some reasons, why such a looseness against mediocre/solid opponents can be still winning. Imho they...

Re: -200 BB days (LC)

[ QUOTE ]
I think its hard to find 4 good 15/30 tables, so I guess OP sits down at ok tables between 5/10 and 15/30 which often means 1 15/30, 1 10/20 and 2 5/10.

But I agree, a few good draws...

Re: -200 BB days (LC)

I follow an old wisdom from the stock market:

Cut your losses and let your profits run.

I stop when i'm 100 BB down. First because i start to TILT. Second and even more important i feel bad an...

Re: check/raised by a maniac

50/25 is maybe a preflop maniac.
With overall AF 2 i need some postflop reads to judge his play. After 500+ hands you should have some notes about his Turn c/r range. Against an unknown i would...

Re: Do I fold too much?

With AA i would calldown to this turndonk from a very passive station.

Hero cant fold b/c he has 8 outs to beat villain when behind and there is still a chance to be ahead.
I also wouldnt raise...

Re: gutshot vs 3 bettor

I think Hero has less than 7 outs here.

Tight villains 3bet range from BB: TT+, AJs+, AQo+

villains hand - #combos - Heros outs(not clean)
TT 3 7
JJ 3 4
QQ 6 5
KK 3 4
AA 6 4

Re: Well that is certainly a lot of action

I wouldn't be aggressive at this river 4way with a gutshot on the board.
But i will see this showdown even if i have to pay 4 BB.

Beside 64 also Q6 could be possible.
I cant see A2 or any...

Re: gutshot vs 3 bettor

Given villains stats and that he 3 bet from BB this is a fold for me. When villain 3bets from sb he could want to eliminate BB but a raise in BB vs HJ is a clear valuebet.

Villains range could be...
